Thank you so much for the thorough comparison of both the B2650 and LX series. I've been in the market for the B2650 for a while, and when we finally were ready to pull the trigger, I was disheartened to hear it had been discontinued. We went ahead and got the LX2610 coming, but I was still a bit uneasy that it was effectively a flashy B2601 model. This did make me feel a bit better bout going with the LX. Thanks for the great head to head overview!

My dealer did not know this either. In the manual for the B2650 if you lock the brake on the PTO will operate. This lets you run a chipper. There is a micro switch which operates with the break lock that lets the PTO operate. I also used this switch to operate a light in the dash so I don't forget to unlock the brake. I know we have all done this

I have the outgoing B3350 Cab, at first I had many issues with what I thought was the emissions. Turns out my stalling issue was something like a slug that must have dropped into the fuel tank and would intermittently plug the fuel line, I still need to locate or make a strainer for the filler neck. Second problem is I wasn’t running RPM above 2000 when running backhoe, resulting in regen issues and inability to start. Since running above 2000 I have not had to regen during or after backhoe use. Seat safety switch is sensitive and would cut motor when bouncing up and down, removed connector and jumped it to stay on all times. Treddel pedal safety switch intermittently would cause a no restart problem, keep it lubed up and wiggle it then try to start again. At the end of the day I don’t think the b3350 is as bad as they say because 75% of my problems we caused by things you would see on any Kubota with same parts. I still fear the regen especially during use but much less now that I know how and when I can tolerate the process.

I went to the local Kubota dealer a couple weeks ago hoping for some explanation of the various compact models & got nothing of the sort. In fact he made it even more confusing as the salesman even gave me an (old/outdated) B2650/B3350 brochure not mentioning those models are seemingly no longer made so I was left wondering what the difference between a BXX50 and an LX is which you so kindly answered.. Not such a warm fuzzy & I'd likely never buy a tractor from them. He basically pointed to a BX and said this is what you need (it may be) although I really like the physical size of the B (aka "small B") series and indicated I wanted something larger. You cleared up some confusion - Thanks!

Hey Neil, have you had any customers complain about the swift-tach setup on the LX series? I had both sides of the loader cone off (separate times) rather violently. One of those times smashed the side of the hood. I had to get the top pins back from the dealer and put them back in. In my opinion this loader/tractor is too heavy for that style of pawl. Both times mine pooped off from simply driving across the field. My assumption is the geometry us off, and the weight bounces just right to allow those pawls to unload and slip.

On paper, the hydraulics on the LX2610 and 3310 are identical. Practically, do both models have the same hydraulic lift capabilities?

That's a big yard, there's a million places he could video. But always in front of that particular building with that roof. I'm guessing it's part of the fun now, and Neil's telling the guys "you can't fix that roof, half my views are just people coming to complain about it."

@@MessicksEquip The title says LX 2610 and you showed the LX 3310, I am assuming the difference is just the horse power so any of the extras would apply to the 2610 as well and seeing as how it's a whole new line there is barely a difference at all but I'm in the process of buying one of the last B2650's on the lot so I have a slight bias.
