We started the Kuantan River Cruise here at the Kuantan River and it was quite an adventure! Crocodile spotting in the dark with flashlights, Firefly watching, a mangrove tour and a huge BBQ at the end. An Amazing adventure and fun evening. I’ve spent over a week now here in Kuantan in the Pahang state and I really enjoy it here. People in Pahang, Malaysia seem to be pretty laid back, I really like the atmosphere here. I came to Kuantan and Pahang with little expectation and got surprised a lot. Had a fun week here so far and the Kuantan River Cruise was the highlight so far.

In sarawak,it is nightmare for us because almost every month there are people died because of crocodile

Sarawak literally home of very massive and fiercest crocodile in Malaysia...crocodile in my hometown kuantan is small and shy..

@@abdulmuaffirdausabdulmalik9474 same species here in peninsula and sabah/sarawak. Largest and most aggresive species of croc, the saltwater croc. Only thing is the population in peninsula isnt as well studied and hasn't recovered as fast/ as well as the population in borneo. Most likely Sungai Kuantan is home to younger crocs who then move on to other areas when they're larger. Take a look at the massive crocs that pop up once in awhile in Kuala Selangor. Bangkai seekor 20kaki pun ada jumpa berapa tahun lalu

Borneo people has sweet and sour taste that's much attracted by the crocs.
Steve was on steroids...Was he? The boat ride was insane... LOL...No monkeys , no birds.... but close encounter with a crocodile.. I think it was at least around 3 to 4 feet long....River cruise, mangrove walk, crocodile encounter, fireflies watching...Seems like it was a great call for the tour .... Kudos to you!!....Last time I remember watching fireflies was in Kuala Selangor in 2002.... seems so long time ago...as always, Stay safe , happy travels...

Sarawak crocodiles be careful and beware. There was a story of Bujang Senang, a monster crocodile.

So nice for you guys to see crocs in the wild in their natural habitat than in the zoo in your countries. Natural sense surround with the crocs lurking around providing a phobic sensation.

Fireflies are so good right??? And damnnn the croc tour is epic too. Hahaha Malaysian tourist activities are still hella good most of the time. Don't pass them up just because they are mainstream. That was great moment you guys can see in front eyes the wild crocodile. During i was child, i always saw the fireflies at my hometown 😊 sometimes catch it and put it in the bottle 😂

There is also a firefly cruise in Cherating if you enjoy it. But I really want to watch your video of turtles laying eggs in Chendor if the season is still on...I am local but have never seen turtles laying eggs before!

#teamabroad Wonderful vlog group! Lovin' it! There may not be any crocodile attacks in the Peninsula, but they are very common in Sarawak.. when you eventually travel.

Recommend thar you make a trip to taman negara or national park near Jerantut in southern part of Pahang state. You will have a great time with jungle tracking, river cruise, canopy walk, exploring caves, rafting, and many other exciting activities. 😀

ahh, here crocodiles can usually be spotted sunbathing along the riverbank in the morning. usually never come close to humans though. makes me think if a rivercruise might be a viable tourist attraction for my hometown
