Hello sir, am travelling with same PNR to phuket with a 12hr layover in KL. do i need transit visa to go out of airport and visit some tourist places. where can i get apply for VISA as MDAC form is asking for local address which i dont have, as am not going to stay anywhere in KL. pls help

how we know that same PNR will issue after booking flight?

When you search for flights, put your origin and final destination airport only. Choose any flight that are shown. Do not search separately for flights.

I have recently booked ticket for phuket. For connecting flight i need to change terminal. Do I need Malaysia transit visa?

Well it depends upon your ticket. If your both the tickets are in same PNR, then no need of transit visa. If you have different PNR, then you have to clear the immigration and for that you need transit visa.

Heyyy, as you have very recently travelled, can you please clear doubts about this malaysian visa. If i have a dufferent PNR and my layover is 4 hrs and i have a check in baggage, would i need malaysian transit visa. If we need to clear immigration would we not need a transit visa.

Yes in this case, you need a transit visa. As you have different PNR + you have a checked in luggage also. Your luggage will be taken out through belt. Then you have to clear the immigration, collect your luggage and re-check in that airport. So get your malaysian visa.

Same terminal transfer KLIA2. Please help as my flight is 2 days from now, do i need to get Trasit Visa?

@@vishwanatheskuri9243 yes you have to get a transit visa because you will not be allowed to enter that transit hall. You have to clear the immigration first and then you have to check in at Air Asia counter for your next flight.

@@vishwanatheskuri9243 & India also when you check in for your kuala lumpur flight, you have to show your visa documents otherwise your first flight boarding pass will not be generated.

No not required. Just carry all the necessary documents for clearing the immigration.
