I certainly agree this is good practice due to the fact the clicker wrenches do give false readings when bounced. The shock loading from bouncing causes the clicker tab to be more easily over come from users perspective letting out a audible click before reaching the desired torque value. That being said though, as others have pointed out; if the wrench is in good working order and no design flaw is present preventing it, the click tab will reset into the pivot pin. So on the next pull the wrench it will have been reset and able to obtain the proper torque value.

@@therealspixycat i think you missed the extras he made, in one section of the vidro there are 8 pieces, presumably 4 are the offcuts that are less than half due to the slitting saw cut. I missed it first time i watched, take a look at 6 56.
You can fix it Witt babet bearings , its better qualitie & dont forgett the oil pump Replease itt. or try too make the pump more power ❗️

How many hours did that take? How much per hour is your labor worth? How much did material cost? Willing to bet you could buy the head new for less and not worry if 1 of those screws is gonna come out. Cool idea but only if you have a machine shop and no other option.

*woosh* - the art of machining going over your head. Obviously this gentleman loves his work, has mastered his trade and takes great pride and satisfaction in saving an otherwise scrap piece of metal. It has nothing to do with cost or time.
