    Great tip with the soapy water- thx. Hmm, I wonder why the spokes don't get the right-angle valves?

    Very good video. Could it be possible, that the sensor should be installed in different direction? There are some videos on KZread where they change the rimband after 5 years in which the original sensor is in different direction. From the view of a physican the torque From the rotation will the be on the screw.

    Thanks, I'm glad you like the video ! For me the orientation of the TPMS sensor looks ok, it's pointing backwards when you follow the turning direction of the wheel. According to the little information I could find this should be the correct way. So far they are still tight 🙏🙂Thanks for the reply 👍 & drive safe 👍

    Nice tutorial! Thanks! Are the spacers of the front wheels different? I have bought two second hand spoke wheels but the spacers are missing...🤔

    One question I have spoked wheels before I install will the wheels need balancing by any chance? What tyre pressure did you set on rear wheel when you installed the front wheel?

  • @FlamesAdventureS

    @FlamesAdventureS

    4 ай бұрын

    Hello, best is to balance the wheels when you fit the tyres.... as far as I remember I used a tyre pressure, 2.4 & 2.7 or something, not too much lower than with road tyres....

    Hello, do the pressure sensors adjust automatically, or do you have to go to the KTM workshop to activate it?

  • @FlamesAdventureS

    @FlamesAdventureS

    6 ай бұрын

    Hello, they adjust automatically. After you changed one wheel you have to ride for about 5 minutes. Then you get a pop-up on the screen that the sensor is connected and you can do the same for the second wheel.

    Do you have to do the same process of doing one wheel at time to connect the TPMS sensors when switching bag to the original mag wheels?

    Hello, I had to do the same to switch back to the original wheels, first one wheel, riding for 5 minutes till the tpms connected, and then the other wheel. @geneshaw1234

    Thanks for getting back to me! I figured this would be the case but good to know for sure. I am probably just going to stay with the stock wheels as I don't do enough serious off roading to justify the added hassle. They do look awesome though!

    👍 Yeah it's an expensive modification but I recently was on a 6 days offroad adventure and I was happy that I made the choise. I had no worries riding bumpy offroad tracks 🙂@@geneshaw1234

    Hello, the sensors are the same. The valve and sensor are together so you have to change them both or buy the spoke wheel set with new TPMS sensors and valves completely like I did (so I can change the wheels to road/offroad setup).

Come fanno nel video la possibilità di pizzicare il flap e creare una perdita è altissima !!!! Ve lo dice uno che ne monta tutte le settimane ......
