The thing I like about geordie is that you can always count on him to give props and respect where it’s due to either side. A lot of people have been highly underestimating Alex because jj is putting himself on the highest pedestal possible. And for that simple reason, I honestly hope Alex surprises everyone on the night. That being said, of course I do believe jj will ultimately win.

The difference between the two is Alex has nothing to lose while JJ has everything to lose. Even if Alex puts on an amazing performance against JJ if he wins or not is already an L for JJ. If Alex makes it to the judges then JJ will get clowned on more than Alex.

Like he said, if Alex can land one solid punch in the first few rounds to let ksi know he isn't going to let him bully him around then it might throw him off his rhythm. If he doesn't then idk. He's gonna have to find a way because ksi has the far better experience in terms of youtube boxing matches.

The thing is, JJ said the same sort of stuff before fighting Logan (both times), he said his previous fights weren't reflective of his level of boxing and that he's going to show more technique etc but he doesnt really do it. Will be interesting to see if he actually does show a greater level of skill/technique or if he'll revert back to brawler

That point made perfect sense. He is saying that if he gets more views against a KZreadr than Jake does against an actual boxer like everyone has been asking for, then that shows he is the A-side between those two and he should be the one to call the shots in negotiations for that reason. It'll only be strategic if KSI's cut is rough. If he manages to cut and not gain any cut related weaknesses, then his rehydration will immediately backfire for Wasabi.

Here’s my prediction. With the ring rust, the first two rounds are gonna look scary for KSI fans. I don’t think people realize how bad the ring rust will affect JJ. Not saying JJ won’t have success but the first two rounds will probably go into Alex’s’ favor or maybe just the first round. But I really do think JJ will win. And I think he’ll win by UD or TKO maybe even KO. I don’t think Alex has been hit as hard and the weight gain will take a toll. But it won’t be as easy as people say, Alex will surprise people as will JJ. Like Geordie said, Alex will surprise people but as the fight goes on it’ll lean into JJs favor.

At the end of the day, JJ knows how to sell tickets and entertain, as does Logan and many other KZreadrs during face offs. However, it was clear that Wasabi was expected to read the room and meet JJ’s energy, but he did not. Which is why JJ came across as dominating the discussion and wasabi came across as disengaged (that, and he has adhd). Realistically, resources or not, they both train hard. But JJ is naturally a heavier weight class and more experienced, even when he gets down to Wasabi’s weight class he will still have the strength of his previous weight class. The odds are JJ will win.

I didnt like how KSI acted in the press conference. He just seemed weirdly big headed and i get that u need to be confident and u probably dont like the guy but have a bit of class mate.

I think this fight will be a lot more competitive than everyone is making out

This could be 2 to 3 things The origin story of alex becoming the villain - the loss or slip of ksi which right now seems unlikely - Ksi and alex settling it for good.

With being a home crowd I think the only way Alex can win is with a KO, which I can’t see happening. That being said, despite me rating JJ big time, it would be legendary if Alex done something spectacular.

i really like wassabi at the conference in my opinion he doesn’t need to do to much to get his point across hes composed and calculated hopefully we see more of that in the ring from him or it will be a short night

KSIs trash talk was... poor to say the least. A lot of the time he was either saying a whole lot of nothing or reiterating a point he made earlier. He was just saying things on the spot trying to remain as assertive as possible and rushing his lines, almost like he was desperate to get a point across that he couldn't even think of... A more assertive opponent who would be more willing to try and talk on that level probably would've brought up how weirdly bad JJs trash talk was

KSI talked these delusions of grandeur when he was against Logan Paul about how he no longer swings but he reverted to type when under pessure. He won't brawl against wasabi because he won't be tested. Doesn't mean he's good.

Still makes me laugh man True Geordie told every bam at the boxing event "i will turn this boxing match off Right now!"

This face off made me think that JJ is actually not that confident about beating Alex . He played a character before but this just felt like he was panicking and trying to convince himself .
