It's more than sad that they aren't with us, but i don't feel that much sorrow because they both left so much behind. If I am being honest i do feel bad, but other feelings like gratitude and a feeling that i just owe them a big thanks are more overwhelming. Both Yu-Gi-Oh and Dragon ball are a part of me and i truly learned many things from both of them, so instead of feeling sad i just wanna thank them both from the depth of my heart.

When Miura Passed, I knew I'd be sad because I loved Berserk through and through Dragon Ball in its entirety was something I grew up on, my first anime, my childhood, something i loved when I was younger, but then started to lose interest in So I didn't expect Toriyama's passing to hit me as hard as it did. I really didn't think Dragon Ball or Toriyama meant that much to me after having grown out of the typical shonen phase. But no matter how much I grow to like other genres or mediums, Dragon Ball really is always gonna be a part of me. It indirectly lead to events that made me who I am today and I would not be where I am if not for it. For that reason alone, It'll hold a place in my heart. Thank you so much Toriyama Rest in Peace

There's no shame in crying over the passing of your biggest inspirations and childhood heroes whether they know who you are or not, their work speaks for itself with the connection you had to it 💪

Being a South African kid, I got home, did my homework, and wait till 17:00pm cause that's when DBZ came on for us and it was always my way to escape from the real world. RIP The G.O.A.T 😢

Normally, I don't get choked up on a celebrity death. But this one man hit hard. Akira Toriyama definitely helped make my childhood/teen years a lot better, and I am forever grateful for that. R.I.P to the GOAT!

Rip indeed. Without him, we will probably never know some of the animes nowadays. He gave the courage for some of the more famous mangaka nowadays to step in the world of manga.

I was going through a depressive episode and this hit me and alllll of the times that I saw anything Dragonball Z related throughout my childhood hit me in rapid hits, especially watching it with my cousins. Then I saw Sleepy Ghosts tribute to him along with their song “Journey of 1000 miles” and I lost it I started crying like hell. RIP Akira Toriyama. Thank you for everything. 🙏🏾
