The makeup on Kryten is still incredible. Most modern CGI is uncanny for how almost-human it looks, but Kryten is uncanny for how close he looks to a 3D animated character.

Its a pretty simple/basic(but admittedly brilliant) prosthetic

Oh good Heavens! Red Dwarf! Im 72 and i remember this program and many other British programs that were just so great. Another favorite was Coupling. The USA tried to do a version of it and just hosed it up big time. UK....never sell the USA rights to copy one of your shows!!!

The chemistry between Kryten and Rimmer was funnier than the contrast between Rimmer and Lister.

"And what would you know, Bog-Bot from Hell?!?!?" Not my favourite line from Rimmer, but one of my favourite deliveries.

Missed out the best part: Cat: "All in all a one hundred percent successful trip" Kryten: "Sir we lost Mr Rimmer" Cat: "All in all a one hundred percent successful trip"

the spacecore directives gag never gets old man, the zero G one is my fave lol

That Low Polygon Count head is so cool to me for some reason.

I hope to one day feel as happy as Lister did when he said “a year and a half” 😂 😂 😂

RD would have been a one series 'flash-in-the pan'.. . if it hadn’t been for introducing Cat. And just as it was slowing, bringing in Kryten to play off A. J. R was inspired.
