I remember back in like 96 or 97 (I can't remember) when this song came on on the radio one Friday night. I was like 😳😳🥹🥹🥹🥲🥲🥲🥲. I cried a few tears cos I was a nerd and really had no friends. This song spoke volumes to me. I miss those years when music could speak to us.

Such an underestimated KRS track. One of the stand-out hits for me and I think one of the best tracks to symobolise hip-hop, the history the mentality and the shared desires/goals of those oppressed in that environment, whether a little or a lot this reflects most peoples environments.
