Thank you so much 😀 You should try though...
I'm so grateful for your channel as I try to learn Krita! Do you think you could do a video talking about how to draw and color using a stylus pen? I was given a Microsoft Surface Pro with the pen and I would love advice for how to use it!

Great idea! I should try. However, I'll have to borrow a surface pro. I do not have one anymore. I'll add this to my long list of requests. No promises though. I certainly don't want to disappoint!🤔
I am so glad I found you. I am a beginner about to try Krita on a line drawing. I wonder if you could do a video about metallic colours?

@@BladeQuillartacademy Fantastic! I have watched many other channels that go so fast or have no voice but loud music playing! Thank you for all you do.
Love your videos! Can you explain to me when you should and shouldn't have your pen pressure activated? Maybe I missed that on a previous video. I just usually keep mine on all the time but now I'm confused. Thanks so much for taking the time to educate us! :)

Hello Karen. It is my pleasure to help! 😊If you leave the pen pressure on all the time, as you already know, it will allow you to have thinner lines when you don't press hard on the pen and thicker lines when you press harder. However, if you want to fill in a big area (by hand, rather to use shortcuts) with color, it's better to turn it off. Maybe, change the size of your brush to a bigger size, to go faster (it will all depend of the size of the area you are trying to fill in). This way, you can fill the area faster. I hope that makes sense. Have a great end of your day.

@@BladeQuillartacademy Ah thanks!! That's pretty common sense! I think I was overthinking the reason one might turn it off 😂. Thanks so much for the quick response. You're awesome! Do you ever use the watercolor brushes? That's my style and they are my favorite! I wish there were as many videos using Krita as there are with Procreate. So I'd love a tutorial using them! 😊

That's a great idea. I will add this suggestion to my list. Thanks.
Huuge help. Before your video i was doing it manualy and it was tiresome. I got my motivation back to color my projects, thank you a lot
I thought when you do this, going out the lines will not show? I don't understand the layers if you needed to use the eraser and stay in the lines.

Hi Bitter. What I show in all my videos are options. You do whatever works better for your project. As you can easily guess, there are hundreds ways of doing things. I cannot possibly show them all. So, I show one way to guide people in the right direction, when they don't know where to start. Then, people can try and experiment other ways or watch other KZread artists and see what else is available. I hope that makes sense.
