I agree completely! Whenever I hear Idina sing I always think she was the wrong choice because she does not sound like a 21ish young woman. To mature sounding of a voice for the part. So happy I am not the only one who thinks that!

She sounds exactly the same as the song on the album 😍 a true Broadway performer ❤ Edit: I know she’s the actor who voiced her, I’m just saying she doesn’t need autotune or need to have it modified in the studio. She truly is talented 😋

what's special about kristen bell is that she has a crystal clear voice AND she's an experienced actor. she started off doing straight up acting, so her facial expressions, tone, voice, and breathing all need to reflect the character she's playing. with singers, they might have a great voice, but a lot of them lack the ability to fully embody a character because, understandably, that's not their profession. and on top of that, she has a naturally funny and cheerful persona, which blends well with anna. to me that's what makes bell's casting so special - you don't just hear someone singing, you actually feel the emotions of the character, scene, and words.

Why I live Kristen Bell? 1. SHE'S KRISTEN BELL. 2. Her husband is Dax. 3.SHE CAN EFFIN SING SO WELL

They're both such talented musicians. Although there were moments were they came in late or early, you could tell that they both had an intrinsic feel for the music and jumped right back on the beat with the soundtrack and piano, and they did it easily. There aren't many singers who can do that.
