Krist Novoselic, bassist of Nirvana, joined Matt Pinfield to discuss his current projects for this episode of New & Approved.
Novoselic has been keeping busy with his supergroup 3rd Secret. This band consists of Novoselic, drummer Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, guitarist Kim Thayil of Soundgarden, guitarist Jon "Bubba" Dupree of Void, and vocalists Jillian Raye and Jennifer Johnson who performed with Novoselic in the band Giants in the Trees. Novoselic tells Matt all about how he met his bandmates and how the group came to be.
Matt asks Novoselic all about his favorite records and greatest inspirations. Novoselic discusses the records that shaped his music taste, his favorite bassists, and the albums he considers the greatest of all time.

Such a cool interview! 2nd 3rd Secret is awesome too! Got them both, (the first album and 2nd) off of bandcamp! The first will always be amazing to me too because it really helped get me through the virus days when it came out! How do we get the 1st second secret songs? I bought the 2nd album through bandcamp but I can’t get the 1st?
Sorry if this is a repeated question - but does anyone know if Jonesys Jukebox is still on once a week on KLOS - and more importantly if Jonesy is ok these days? used to listen to him loads in the classic Indie 103.1 days
