@@WhichBass , agreed. I think it’s a travesty that he just now got on the Artist list for strings and just now finally got his signature bass. Do you think it would have taken this long if it wasn’t for the incident when he threw his bass in the air and hit himself in the face? It seems like people can’t let that go about him or it’s all they remember…NOT HIS MUSIC!!! It’s terrible 😞.

I found a cool old ibanez bass guitar at the Starlite swap meet in Tacoma for $35. I went directly to guitar maniacs downtown and the owner told me he knew exactly who would want it. Then came digital recording and it was like the heavens opened up and God's booming voice said, "GO, AND MAKE MUSIC WITHOUT THE TEDIUM OF CUTTING THY TAPE" as unicorns with wings flew about and good scotch was had by all LoL! I still use tape. I used it last night to pull a radio show that interviewed my doom metal band, Ov Moros (shameless plug :), and played a bunch of songs off our new album. It was just simpler to catch it that way. I'll dump it to my DAW and all will be archived. Tape still has its uses for me. Cheers!

Great video as always! If it wasn’t for Krist I would have never picked up a bass guitar. His incredible tone is the stuff of legends. If you haven’t ever seen Nirvana.Live.Tonight.Sold out. at that Paramount Theater from 1991 you have to check it out. You really see the band at their musical best and Krist just fills up so much space with his Gibson SD and Ampeg SVT. He is a great person not afraid to speak his mind even if it may not be popular with the masses. He is a great American, a massively underrated musician that deserves to be mentioned among all the classic players.
