Actually, he recorded this before the scandal. So after the scandal, he asked Katrina if would she like her to release this as his new single? Katrina said "it's ok"

okay i am a huge BIGBANG fan and proud PVIP, but I find it stupid some VIPs are coming here saying that he is copying YB, duh, Kris won Star In A Million Season because of his sexy rnb style, and he already showcased his dancing skills during that competition, the Hair style, even before breaking through in Philippines music industry he's been wearing that.or sometime bald cause of his scar. . they might be look a like but he did not copy YB.

I guess it’s because the original Sounds like more heartwarming. I’m Pilipino but I prefer the original as well. Not about the singer but the impact of the song ❣️

i used to watch kris lawrence when he was a part of 'search for the star in a million' (2004) :) anyways, if you were to look at a large chunk of today's male teenagers, most of them rock the same fohawk, jacket(s), and sneakers that you'd see both taeyang and kris lawrence wearing! saying that kris lawrence copies taeyang is like saying the same thing about let's say.. jay park. they all present themselves similarly, but that doesn't mean that they're all 'copying' each other.

Koreans and Pinoy's have the most swag out of all the asians in my opinion.
