I love Kris so so so much. I'll never for get the first time I got the album with Jesus Was A Capricorn and this song on it. Kris is so fine, he's so fine, he blows my mind. Always had always will.

Rita sounds amazing on this song. In fact, Rita sounds amazing on ANY song she has ever done. It isn't possible to trash Rita Coolidge with any clip. Her voice is one of the most beautiful on the planet.

An absolutely beautiful duet. What a team they were. They were made for each other, and yet they split up. It is very hard to understand why. I saw Kris play in the RDS in Dublin in 1982. One of the best nights out I have ever had. And the Irish audience absolutely loved him. He is among the greatest singer/song-writers of all time. As for Rita, she has to be one of the finest female singers of all time. I recommend the album ‘Rita Coolidge - The Collection’. While they are all covers of other songwriters’ work, the album showcases her beautiful singing voice at it’s best. PS, who is the lady in the video? Definitely not Rita!

@@colleendonovan6681 Karen Black ,first came to my attention as Rayette in 5 Easy Pieces ; she was the epicenter of the dinner scene amidst the Jack Nichson impassioned , protectively defensive reaction against Somnia's condescending tone toward her ,in particular. Her admirably intense ,though not necessarily reciprocated love and loyalty for Jack's character , Bobby, underscored the movie's thematic premise of human disaffiliation in the amorphous crowd of society. Unfortunately, God's love of her generously talented good life was absent from her struggle with the inexorable evil of cancer. R.I.P Karen Black.

Ranger Jones No, they weren't even married yet when the movie was filmed in 1971. You were probably thinking of the 1976 movie "The sailor who fell from grace with the sea" with this Sarah ... who took Kris into this Playboy session which offended Rita a lot...
