Yoshino is the chess master's pick for Gold ranked. Ship's got it all, great AP, great HE, lots of HP, lots of torps. Clearly unbeatable, and only a noob would choose something else.

@@IaSaVedem Don't have Incomparable, the other two are good for ranked, Yoshino lacks DPM, utility and survivability. I guess if you're good enough you can make anything work but Yoshino sucks for the format. I can think of few worse choices for ranked. If any.

@@AllAhabNoMoby i dont like yoshi in ranked due to slughish rudder and long range play style, but you can go mid range to support against cruisers and dds. if you kill 1-2 ship by doing that in ranked its good enough.

Of course he refuses. Shooting is scary, its bright and loud and what if enemy realizes where he is? He might blind-fire back, actually hit him once and in that case DD´s have only 5 damage reduction mechanics, so he might actually recieve some damage. That is level of objectively acceptable fear that might make any torp DD player´s preemptively shit their pants as soon as they accidentally press 1 or 2. And of course the moron almost makes it all irrelevant by standing still outside of smoke in detection range with a f****g BB nearby.

These highly intelligent players are confused by Ranked AR and will default to Randoms Domination in which they pick one flank and sail in that direction. And in actual Randoms they will all sail up the middle and get crossfired...

Both Yoshis were at the bottom of the team, I'm shocked🤨🤨

7:52 Maybe you get better dispersion because with blind fire, you have fewer lock-on/camera/general artillery -bugs than with correctly targeted shots? My theory makes zero sense, but WeeGee spaghetti code...

It actually makes a lot of sense imo Blindfiring just uses the most basic rng-dependant dispersion. No lock-on bugs, no other aiming bugs and so on

American 406s have been so power crept it's hilarious. They slap when they actually pen but penning is the hard part.

The buff hurt, but I loved brawling in my Kremlin. The Dev Strikes, even on Yamatos, were worth the price of admission.

When you blindfire the game's coding can't tell what you're aiming at. So it doesn't know what to deliberately miss :)

WG apparently sacked the chat ban team. Ive been cursing the team for the past month and didn't receive any ban. I usually received one the second day of ranked season...

I think the fun of wows is that we see the same information and think the same thing. Not much we can do for them playing a different game.

How long until the dockyard expires? If I were to install the game, would I have enough time to complete it with like 2h per day?

dockyard will be abailable 33 more days( as of now) , honestly i dont think so...up to the 5-th set of missions its pretty easy, but set 6-7-8 seem very grindy...you need to play alot more i think.

Assym might help....3-5 hour Asymm enough to do the weekly set in a day as of the current set. Choose correct ship though

Glad i dont play this game everyday anymore. The dispersion was SHIT SHIT last time i played, and now seeing this just says even more!

I had the same exact start in same exact map, no caps there i said. The answer i got was a lenghty lecture how i am a shit player and its called map control🤷‍♂

Can an expert tell me why Yoshino is for "saving a star" and not for winning?

Mostly because Yoshino doesn't have the survivability to tank and is best played at the back, racking up damage with her high fire chance and solid AP pen. In ranked simply sitting at the back farming damage is usually seen as a selfish playstyle because unless you focus down targets of import you likely won't have much of an impact to help your team push, and instead leave them at a disadvantage of direct numbers.

You are blocking a stalingrad or petro from your team for camping behind the lines being useless. Meaning no radar, useful hydro, smoke, pressure, control just spamming HE at the edge of the map.

Which monitor do you use?

Are you running heavy AP?

Those Yoshino players are the epitome of Legends players. We have T7 ranked coming up in a couple weeks. Theyll be taking Kagero's and Yuudachi's instead of Fletcher, Black, Friesland, Loyang, Akizuki, ect.

Because those ships I listed are all T7's on Legends. Legends version doesn't get all ten tiers like PC. Instead our Tech tree looks like this(Edit: excludes split lines that usually start at T4): Destroyers: T3 -> T8 Cruisers: T1 -> T8 Battleships: T3 -> T8 CVs: T3 -> T5 -> T7 My comparison is that those Yoshino players have better cruisers to use to support the team just like Legends players have better Destroyers to use but still choose strict torp boats like Kag and Yuudachi.
