    I promise if I put lipstick 💄 on my training knife and tries to cut and stab you, you will end up with lipstick on both lips 💋 above your wrist and large red stripes on the inside of your left leg above the knee, all krav Maga people i meet long time ago i asked how the best approach is because I'm stabbed and cut so many times and many times people been trying to do it. But when a really good figther surprise stabbed me and then tries to rob me, I went for the knife and got a extra cut in my hand ✋ then I attacked he's head with a hard kick after pretending to be weakened by the stab in my chest, but I didn't really feel it that much because I got so surprised. Anyways I got away from the situation while he was laying on the staircase with legs up and head downwards the stairs... I have some nasty pictures and stuff from it, i bleed so much my pants 👖 was red in the front so I posted it on Fb. I have pms etc,,, but my friends didn't think it was any humor in it so Ill never do it there again but maybe here

    At first I thought this was an absolutely unrealistic depiction of getting attacked by someone wielding a knife. Then I realize, 90% of my time is spent going to, or coming from home and running errands. In that scenario, it would most likely be a tweaker who would draw a knife on me and not a highly trained soldier, so, yeah...I think this is a fantastic method!

    The comments for every KM video always seem to go something like this: "Yeah, but what if you get attacked by a guy with TWO knives, AND a gun, and he's got a flame-thrower - yeah, what good would your Krav Maga do ya then!" All I know is, before I learned KM I could do basically nothing to defend myself. Now, I could do quite a lot.

    This whole series is great, no matter what some people say.... it is good advice.... alot of this stuff I have learnt on my first two months with my Jeet Kune Do teacher.... some techniques are safe and work, others are not and will harm you if the opponent is skilled... there is no safe way to disarm a knife with bare hands... absolutely none...!! And thats because you can never know the knife holders skills.... Which is why you should never be without a weapon of your own, preferably nunchucks, if a gun is not legal to carry with you... With nunchucks in my hands there is nobody on this planet that can harm me with a knife...!! Well, maybe Chuck Norris can,,,, but he is not human...!! Seriously now, dont slam these lessons.... they do help. cheers.

    And what if a man came up behind and put a knife in your back? or a bullet in your head? or threw his arms around your waist and took you down, and then killed you? No matter how good you think you are, there's always someone better. And against a true surprise attack, ie, an assassination, there is no true defense.

    I do krav and the first thing i was ever taught was if someone pulls a knife out on you and you have one you should always deploy your knife or gun or whatever it may be this is just a last resort type of technique those of you who do some sort of combat art know there is NO AND I REPEAT NO FULL PROOF move or move set that can and will always 100% of the time work its just not realistic. So train in these different situations all the time with a constantly varied situation just to improve your situational awareness and execution. Thats really all you can do and also live with that mindset of always being ready for the worst.

  • @kknos

    @kknos

    7 жыл бұрын

    Concordo con te. A prescindere che l' agressore il braccio armato di coltello non lo tiene né teso e né immobile, un minimo movimento di quest' ultimo ti affetta la mano con la quale cerchi di fare la mossa indicata. Io consiglierei di non farlo.

    Sono d'accordo, chi ti vuole colpire con un coltello ti viene contro con foga e violenza e ti colpisce ripetutamente, il mio consiglio difronte un arma è semplicenete di dare il portafogli e scappare appena possibile ,poi certo se è un un'esecuzione provi a fare di tutto.

  • @djvar94

    @djvar94

    3 жыл бұрын

    Assolutamente d'accordo. Soprattutto se è uno con buona massa muscolare o che sa afferrare saldamente un coltello in quel caso puoi provare e colpire forte tanto quanto vuoi ma non starà certo a lanciare il coltello via come fanno in palestra. A stento riuscirai a muovere appena il loro braccio e la prossima cosa che ti vedrai sarà un coltello ficcato da qualche parte nel tuo corpo, possibilmente anche più di una volta. Quando si tratta di affrontare un attacco con coltello o sai veramente cosa fare o meglio cercare di attaccare per difesa con semplici trick inefficaci come il primo in questo video o si richia di essere severamente feriti o persino uccisi. Mi rende un po' triste però vedere istruttori che insegnano queste mosse inutili piuttosto che insegnare senso comune o almeno metodi veramente efficaci per non rischiare la vita, altrimenti scappate e a gambe!!!!

    Well this is only for the scenario where you know for sure that the robber is holding the knife loosely asking for your wallet. I don't think merely slapping the hand would disarm him in an actual fight. The wrist lock disarm seems more useful.

  • @RoundeyeSamurai

    @RoundeyeSamurai

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Zavius Firerave at the 0:58 mark he specifically shows the striking area on the back of the hand. It is a very sensitive area with lots of small bones and tight tendons, especially tight when gripping something. A slap, or backhand with knuckles can do a lot of damage to that area. I had two bones in my right hand broken by a block while sparring with my karate instructor...now imagine if his intent was to break my hand? The wrist lock disarm is useful, if your intent is to keep the engagement going, but if you are in a situation where you only need to escape to the end of an alley, or to a safer spot, then the disarm and pass is your best option.

    @@johnhodzic9578 yes because they always train to defend against weapons... don't be silly Krav Maga is the most comprehensive self defense system around. This is one technique for one situation and if it didn't work then it would not have passed scrutiny by experts and be allowed on the syllabus. People love to say it wont work without trying. It's boring. Why not try before commenting?

    omg people , stop complaining about the video clips arent realistic or whatever. we all know factors do change in real life and there is no an exact way that can guarantee you to solve the same issue every time. but having a good training/practice and also some knowledge of what methods are possible for you to use in the situation like that are not harmful.

    Ultimamente tutte le arti marziali si stanno sempre più somigliando, credo si andrà verso il modello giapponese del XIX° secolo in cui non è tanto l'arte marziale in sè, ma CHI ( maestro/a) che te la insegna a fare la differenza

    In the actual fight it would dynamic rather than static. So I doubt that this would work unless needed for desperate times where running away or having a gun is impossible.

    I promised myself I wouldn't bother commenting on martial art videos but I've gotta say this: the knife disarms in traditional martial arts like Ju Jitsu, Karate, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, etc. are 'slow' because one has to learn it and demonstrate it. There's generally no sparring in these styles that's why it 'doesn't work'. If they sparred and drilled it often (like they do in Krav Maga) then it'd 'work'.

    Sure, except that knife attacks are dynamic and no one just hold the knife out for you to disarm them.

    I think its better to grab the hand holding the knife like strait away with both hands and then use other hand to bend little finger to loosen the knife

    Had two guys try to stab me with a broken bottle. I was a lot smaller than them, so, when the stab came to my face, instinctively I ducked fast and , as his hand was above my head, grabbed his forearm with both hands either side of it, and pushed my head up making sure he couldn’t move with his arm locked against by head. When the othe4 guy realised his partner was stuck he tried to move around and punch or kick me. I used the guy who had his arm trapped on my head as a shield and kept him between me and his partner. The trapped guy had been trying to punch me with his left , but with by arms up my arms and elbows were in his way. He couldn’t kick me as i was moving very quickly side to side and up and down to keep him between me and his partner . This went on for 6 or 7 minutes. I would not let go of the guys right forearm wedged on my head with a broken bottle in the hand. Eventually, the guy dropped the bottle and i let go and stood back. They walked away.

    Hmm I guess this could work. But pretty low percentage. No way I would be letting go of a knife from a simple strike like that. Chances are you will get cut in a knife fight unless you can get a weapon with a much longer range. Even then there is a decent chance of getting cut.

    I would like to see this technique used on a guy that has a true intent of trying to harm you.Or at least a guy that is good with a knife.Just use a rubber knife but make it a little more realistic i think it would be a better learning tool that way instead of the guy always just standing still.

    I've gt a question for anyone? Why military self defence such as Kali and maga or any etc is banned in Asian countries? I'm lost. As a sensei in extreme Dojo Malaysia , I actually need some pointers and help to get the Dojo transfered to another area... Any one wt a higher level backup in the military connections?
