    That's what makes krav maga the most effective and deadly martial art. Simple, effective, deadly(even lethal) It is a non-sporting martial art(meaning they do things like eye gouging and crotch kicking) it's purely about self defense, nothing fancy or showy. That's why many special forces and elite combat troops learn it. It's what the Navy seals, us Marines, rangers, green berets learn.

    I am not a trained fighter nor do I have any specialized skills in martial arts. However, I have been in many street fights and am fairly good size guy. (6'7 274#) These videos and Krav Maga in general is absolutely the best technique I have ever seen that would be effective in a real street fight. Many other arts may look pretty but unless you are a master, will not serve you well in true fight. I wish I would have trained in Krav Maga long ago and learned many of the techniques here. Great Job Guys! Thanks for these vidoes!

    KM is for explosive attacks then you get the fuck away. It's not for some proper form style to stand in the street and weave or roll around on the ground. In fact half these moves won't be fluent in real life like this. Picture your first real survival fight from a kid/teen/adult? That was basically krav maga. This why I would go with this over anything. Cause you not about to be doin BJJ and tryna submit someone in the street, then either cops or the opps friends come and feild goal your face!

    When pressed to a wall one has to consieder the size/height of the attacker. If he /or she is shorter, than in this case the defence is quite logical. However, when facing a taller opponent, ducking an devaidng to the side would be more advisable. Only beginners should face situiations like this! Intermediate students of M. Arts could watch their immediate vicinity and somehow awoid , by earlier sidestepping this movement. Advanced student are required to freadstall all that by either avoiding the danger area or making apre-emptive grip, or hit to discourage or even eleimintate the attacker in sight. Best regards., Paul, age 65, retired Goju-ryu instructor.

    I love walls and corners, you can only be attacked from one direction and cannot be surrounded. With a single attacker you need to react quicker, you use his force and drive him face first into the wall, he already has momentum, just accelerate him. Then persuade him to stay down, gravity and speed work well together as an argument. If multiple attackers, strike the person to side of the first puncher, put him down and continue to the next. Keep your back to the wall! In most case when the third has fallen the rest will back up, swear at you, and leave. If not, continue until they cannot get up, if you stop early you will be hurt. I used to fight when I was young, I did not have the correct amount of melatonin, I grew to love fighting. Now I am elderly and avoid conflict, excepting when speaking of the Lord God. Best defense, situational awareness. Do not put yourself in a place of danger! Do not be afraid to apply deadly force. Practice and practice, imagine every situation.

    @@symbolsarenotreality4595 well, most bullies are cowards, they have no intention to actually fight you and even when they do they are not very motivated: many petty criminal-minded people do account for possible legal implications of their actions and they don't want to go to jail. They bully to intimidate just for the thrill of it. However if a group of attackers are really motivated to attack you is a different story.

  • @jasonjib1354
    @jasonjib13543 жыл бұрын

    The best defence of course would not be to let someone get you in that position in the first place, but to be aware of your situational surroundings. I like it, I think this would work. I also think a person could defend themselves by going to the outside of the aggressor (pivoting away). Obviously in this video, he defends himself by going to the inside. The advantage of going to the outside is that the Opponent’s back and side are now facing you... a clear advantage for the defender. This also may be easier to do and involves less hand movement, transition, & technical skill, as compared to going to the inside. When the defender goes to the inside he has to be watching for the aggressors left punch/elbow coming towards him. By going to the outside the defender avoids this potential left hook punch or elbow entirely.

    I'm in a Krav Maga training program and they taught me that when I strike, to make a hissing or TSSSH-sounding noise. The reasoning for this is that it tenses up your core and makes your strikes stronger. Try it out.

    I have to ask out of all martial art or fighting systems , that never show what to do in this move , Your in a fight you are nose to nose I mean your noses are 3 inches apart he taking crap while his friend throws something at you to distracts you then he punches you dead square in the mouth is there a move for this.

    edgar zack Arte marcial es un estilo de vida, impone reglas y generalmente va enfocado hacia algun tipo de competicion, los sistemas de defensa son, tecnicas que se usan para acabar una batalla en el menor tiempo y con el menor esfuerzo posible, por eso no ves continuacion de batalla, katas, etc. ves tecnicas de como salir contratacar y acabar para huir o dejar inhabilitado a tu oponente.
