@@zumizm1 Theres a chance he is not allowed in certain countries or is dealing with USADA. You don't need to disclose getting caught for substances. By the time he fights it'll be a 13 months break. 12 months (possible suspension) + the extra 1 month to find a fight.

the answer is Dana White. Dana and UFC always love to legally fix their fights. They wanna make Khamzat not fight in a long time, then give him a high lvl opponent so that theres high chances he will lose. And Khamzat not fighting in a long time means the ranking will change when he does come back, and i think thats what Dana wants. He doesnt know where to put Khamzat, welterweight or middleweight, and then which opponent? in my opinion, Khamzat should fight either Colby, Leon, Kamaru or Izzy.

Nice to see him improving and honing his skills. I can already tell he's worked on alot, that lower calf kick looked on point. And his straight looks alot crisper. Earlier he used to turn his arm/elbow outward when trowing it. A bit sluggish and a big telegraph. Now it looked like a boxers straight.

Khanzat laid a beating on an actual prime, healthy and fully prepared fight camp Gilbert Burns. No disrespect to Belal but what Khamzat did was far more impressive

In my opinion it's insane the level of doubt I have been seeing in some of the MMA community in Khamzat Chimaev. It honestly seems like once he got to the higher rank that it's harder for him to get opponents to agree to compete with him? It doesn't matter what weight. He proved he will do multiple. I think the biggest thing is aspects of the UFC has held back his full potential since he's proven how active he will be. So why would anyone doubt Khamzat's heart & drive? It makes no sense?

They only doubt that In my opinion because of one failed weight cut when he was originally supposed to fight Nate at 279 (When he actually going to fight Kevin Holland), when It's clear that he's made weight previously before that when he fought GIlbert Burns and still almost every 170er were still ducking him Colby, Masvidal, Belal, etc. Even fighters at 185 are ducking him now Cannonier, Vettori, Du Plessis, and even Strickland got outsparred by Khamzat as he's admitted himself. Pereira literally dipped and moved up to 205, to get away from Khamzat. And that's when Khamzat literally said he didn't want to fight him at 205 and Instead 185, but yet he still ran once Khamzat moved up to 185 after he lost to Izzy In their rematch. And there's the altercation with Costa, but even then Costa could only talk shit about Khamzat when he was still at 170 (when he was preparing to fight Nate at 279), but when Khamzat moved up to 185 and Costa didn't approach the opportunity to fight him and went on to fight Ikram Instead of fighting Khamzat at Abu Dabhi In October. So he's running too. The only doubt Is of Khamzat not making weight, which was a one time occasion. That's why they doubt him, but even fighters like Kelvin Gastelum can be dominant In both 170 and 185 even after a a year layoff, Kelvin most recently beat 30-9 Chris Curtis. The doubt for Khamzat will be Irrelevant when he comes back to fight Usman (Or Vettori, Cannoier, etc.) whoever fills In for him at 185 or whatever weight-classes and he'll still dominate. And him staying I the gym proves his dedication to the grind and the game. He will smesh.
