Yeah his development is one of the best but he himself said that young Kratos is more than a beast filled with rage and vengeance. Only in GOW 2 and 3 is vengeance the main theme

​@@Gr8atgamingOdin was in charge of making massacres with the jotun, literally to create Midgard he killed the primal being because yes, he used the midgardians as hostages in Ragnarok, he tricked Freya to obtain her spells and once that was done he locked her up forever in Midgard , he corrupted the Valkyries causing Hell to be repelled and the draugrs emerged, he tortured Mimir for thinking that he would betray him, among many other things and all because of his obsession with Ragnarok, he even killed his own son in cold blood, it is not very different from Zeus, both were tyrants.

Magni didn't deserve to die at all. Baldur made his choice, Modi was killed by Atreus. But Magni didn't even want to kill Kratoa and Atreus, his task was to capture them...

I still can't believe Kratos went from a beast filled with rage and vengeance, to a calm and more peaceful version of himself. But he's still as strong as ever, as gods get stronger while aging. And all of this while fighting and stuff, he is just HEAVILY holding back. This goes to show how crazy of a beast Kratos really is, as he doesn't want to kill any more gods. And this, this is the first mortal to ever kill a god.
