    Maybe yes, maybe no. But don't you find it more than a little odd that Carlsen can lose his mind over a OTB loss to Hans Niemann on little more than a gut feeling & the prior online cheating and everyone goes "oh he's Magnus, he can't be wrong". And yet Kramnik freaks on the same gut feeling and he's the bad guy? You can't have it both ways

    @@itsnateeee yup yup you said it yourself, the Magnus V Hans game was face to face. What happen online is not germane. Magnus has still NOT produced any conclusive proof on how Hans sat in front of him and cheated (vibrating anal beads not withstanding). Thus Magnus set the tone and for better or worse Kramnik is carrying it on with everyone he looses too. I am not comparing the two incidents I am saying one is the root cause of the other (I.e baseless acquisitions) and yet people are taking the piss at Kramnik. Seems a bit rich to me.

So dont think it was all people saying Magnus cant be wrong. Opinions were very divided. Kramnik is not following Carlsen, he's doing his own thing, he got old and became sore loser over the board as well, watch his armageddon lost with Abdusattorov. Even my 650 ranking can see how Kramnik is his own worst enemy, losing tempo inch by inch when the clock is down. Retreating moves. Repeating moves. When his opponent plays aggressively he assumes it's cheating. No, Vlad, other people are just smart enough to learn from their mistakes. Put a fork in it.

    Wow! Interesting times we live in! (Chuck Norris era). A pupil is giving bad grades to a professor. You, Sir, with your 650 rating, would lose 10,000 games out of 10,000 games played against Kramnik. And believe me, Sir, you wouldnt learn much from your 9,999 mistakes. You would lose the last game as well, just the same as the first one. P.S. Just to mention, Magnus said he played Caro-Kann defense about 100,000 times in his life. Fischer had 19 wins streak (both being black and white) against strongest grand masters. World chess champions are not a joke.

  • @bambesfresser

    @bambesfresser

    @@nickname5103 A lot of assumptions in your comments. 1. There were inaccuracies made by the 2450. 2. An individual game is statistically meaningless and yes a 2450 will produce a game(s) that is above his range. Otherwise, he wouldn't be 2450 if he only played at that level or worse. 3. If the 2450 had been cheating then one would expect this also to be the case in other games. There is no indication of that. 4. It is far more challenging to cheat at fast time controls. 5. Kramnik has lost all credibility by making the cheating charges against virtually anyone that crosses his path. He has demonstrated that he knows nothing about statistics. His thinly veiled accusations towards Hikaru were a joke. Once you lose credibility everything else you say becomes meaningless even in cases where you are correct.

GM with 200 points advantage has to do nothing to beat his lower ranked opponent. He can simply play solid and WAIT for opponents small strategic mistake. And opponent will lose not knowing why he lost. Chances 2450 player will beat 2850 player are very slim, somewhere around 2-3%. Conclusion: We can all pretend cheating is not happening. Kramnik chooses to give up his center pawn in exchange for activity, but if you fast forward, his forfeited d pawn is what allowed white to bring his knight into center and basically crushed black's position, forcing an exchange that left him at a deficit...which caused him to lose the game. Sure, its always possible someone had engine help somewhere along the way, but you also have to admit your own sub optimal moves that would allow any human opponent to easily exploit them.

    Wow! You must be a progress-genius! You would lose against that stone-ager 1000 games out of 1000 games. Not a single draw. You, advanced, modern, updated man. Champion of the progress and champion of "drag & drop technique".

    @@cheetah3771 You are wrong again. Kramnik is not reporting him based on statistics this time, its not about Kramnik loosing the game, Kramnik is doing that based on his opponents moves selection. These types of moves (in a row) do not belong to a 2450 player. Of course Kramnik can and may loose, he is not a God. Just like when you see a basketball player and you see his moves... You immediately know if he is an amateur, pro, G-league player or NBA player. It doesnt matter what he says he is - you see his moves and you know. And you can easy conclude if things dont add up. P.S. I am not a genius. But I understood you are, because of your knowledge how to premove.

    I don't see it ,it really looks like two humans, I don't see higher level chess program moves but who's to say if the other player did 1 or 2 hints because I'm no grandmaster but I play computers and humans and believe it or not I'm only 3 to 4 mistakes away from being a grandmaster,I totally understand how chess works and I see computers set there to lose because there is nothing or you make a weakness and it goes ,now if this is three minutes,then it means nothing to the computer but means more to the human so what I'm getting to is how fast did it found the weakness alone with the time but not saying this is the answer but it be defined to help on a better insight❤😊

    I really cannot see any weird or outwordly moves from white. Kramnik's ...Rf8, that you call ambitious James, thát move looks weird to me. Obviously Qb3 is unthematical but definitely not weird (I wish Chesscom started notating move nrs). Kramnik hanging on at this level is truly respectable but he shouldn't rely on his statistical intuition so profoundly if he underestimates the demographs -of a very large pool of very strong and very young players. 2800 is the new 3000, so to say. With emphasis on so to say. Kramnik may be losing from lower rated players because he simply doesn't relate to their age, who they are, what they do, how they study, how they're supported and many other factors. Kindly take it from an old guy.

    He is right about the amount of cheaters online, maybe not about this specific case, I think that torneys with prizes should use some anticheater mecanisms, a program to catch all programs running in the computer, records the screen, and a webcam filming the room to assure there are not 3 persons playing against one. This is the very basic kit to assure a minimum of trust about the players in the torney. Easy to do, and will kill almost all cheating mechanisms used nowadays, not perfect, but this case will have a different conclusion. The simple fact is that, think that you could be playing with a cheater can make your mind blurry and leads you to a los.

    i dont know how stupid people can be. This is a master who has defeated Kasparov in the past. Has played and won numerous tournaments. was among the few top GMs who broke into 2800s. was a former world number 1 and for fuk's sake knows chess better than anyone commenting in here. So if he feels he is cheated i can definitely only side with him. The other player - however high he is rated, has never played against him in person and is not well known either. Now to the game - i mean come on - all his moves - not 1 mind you - were killing kraminik. Kraminik obviously felt a pressure right from the start - all through the game until the end - something that he probably feels when playing Carlsen or top players - and something he knows he should not be feeling with a lesser player. Come on - world champ and an unknown player and you guys still give the odds to the unknown player. Well Kraminik maybe a bum, but so was kasparov when he cheated against Polgar or when ivanchuk cursed polgar etc. Well chess players are eccentric characters and rightfully so because when you spend 90% of your life sitting in front of 64 squares you may not blossom into a very likeable person. But why should we care - when as chess fans we are here to see their games. Take a good look at this game from the opponents point of view. Some of the moves - for e.g. giving away the d4 pawn at 8:48 with just seconds (watch the clock) remaining against a grandmaster to reduce down to a winning end game of rook vs knight was just too good. I mean Kraminik never saw it but a lesser opponent sees it in seconds. I mean why is this guy not ever heard of ? Come on man

    Look, he can take shots at cheaters, that’s fine. He may be right, but to take a shit a you and your channel is unnecessary. Maybe Kramprick should hire you to cover his cheating conspiracies, your comedic insight may shed a different light on the situation and sway some opinions. Don’t do it for less than a half mill per video.
