I love both of your channels but this channel has opened up the possibility of all these new places to travel. I'm so envious, I didn't have the want or know how to travel when I was young. You are very blessed and smart and I am really proud of you. 😊💜💙💚

On 7:10 there are old 19th century ads on the wall of the Cloth Hall, from the period of Galicia, district of Austrian-Hungarian Empire, which Krakow was part of. The ads promote First National Soap Factory from Lviv (which also was a part of AHE) and it's sales stand inside:)
That's unfortunate that Dean felt sick, hope he recovered for the following day...nice vlog, tfs!

Pierogi Ruskie are "Ruthenian Dumplings", not "Russian". They come from a region called Ruthenia, a historical region, formerly part of Poland, now in Ukraine.

Please, don't call them "russian pierogi", cause they're not. They are "ruthenian pierogi". Thank you :) Very nice vlogging!

These dumplings with potatoes and curd are called "Ruthenian dumplings". Some translate it into English as Russian dumplings. This is wrong, ignorance and primitivism (I don't hold a grudge against you. You don't know the intricacies of our history.). Ruthenia was part of Poland for 1000 years. St. Jacek Odrwoąż brought it to the rest of the country from this place. These dumplings are called "pierogi ruskie" in Polish. The word "ruskie" means something from Ruthenia. This word began to mean Russians in everyday language at the end of the 19th century. That is why many people associate the word 'ruski' with Russia, not Ruthenia. Ruthenia today is western Ukraine. Russian dumplings are pelmeni. 🙂
7:10 - You've asked for translation. It looks like these are old shop/market signs. - The first one says 'Steam factory of Chemical Products, Karol Rzacy (Karol Rzacy being a name)'. The text below is too out of focus + cursive to read, but it mentions paints, oils and products made of leather such as belts or shoes. - The second one says J. Jhnatowicz (a person's name) 'First national factory of perfumes, bathroom and hygiene products from Lviv recommends it's services in Krakow'. I suspect a factory from Lviv was selling it's products in this building. My translation might not be the best, but hope it helps.

it wasn't sheep's cheese, it was made from cow's milk. You can get real sheep's cheese only in the mountains in shepherd's huts, only in a certain season from the beginning of May to mid-October. Everything else is a fake
It's not Russian pierogi, it's RUTHENIAN PIEROGI. Ruskie = Ruthenian Rosyjskie = Russian
