Not bad but you should add a Waterfall system and raise your air pump above your water level incase of an outage. I Also prefer bulkheads with two rubber washers for extra security but that's because I don't rent. PA Hydroponics has the best system out currently IMO. He is very Knowledgeable and doesn't try to sell you anything if you are serious about this expensive hobby he is worth a look. You will get a better understanding of what you want vs what you need, he also has a video on most of the other hydroponic systems.

I'm not trying to make waves like others with their comments but I do agree with some of the critiques to a point. I agree those net pots definetly have to go. The shut off on the return line should be outside the controller along with an inline filter. To drain system all you need to do is put an extra valve on the control bucket. The little things you can do to these pregrow don't make or break your grow necessarily but they do control ease of use. When there are many competitors in this market (on top of being able to source parts and diy build) the little things also put different brands products on different levels. Ps-GreenSea, if you would like to talk on these points hit me up.

Air pump should be placed on an elevated surface to prevent a backflow of water in the event of a power failure which could damage the pump....unless it has a non-return valve

Those net pots could use a skirt around the top, no need for holes all the way up the top ones will be impossible to cover completely with pebbles and will most definitely allow some light in, would be worth a look into supplying with a different net pot as this could damage your overall products reputation?

You don't need to use airstones in all the buckets. Actually you dont need any at all. All it does is create more heat and put pathogens into your water. The movement of the water and maybe a vortex in the main controller bucket is all that is needed.

5 gallon buckets with 10 inch netted pots work best. Just drill a 1 inch round hole on the side/bottom of each bucket, install a 3/4 tee and attach 3/4 vinyl hosing. So simple. I would suggest purchasing the brain bucket if you are not up to making your own float switch. They cost around $200-300. That will be your only big expense beside the air pumps. If you go with the multiflow verses the dwc than you don't even need air pumps.
