summer queen nayeon coming back with her 2nd NO SKIP ep called NA!! ps. she's still in Twice, she's the oldest!! now that twice had their comeback and finished their tour, the members are working in solo/unit schedules and finished their 5th japanese album that will come out next month (right before their 6 encore concerts in Japan, in 3 different stadiums!! and I bet Nayeon will change her solo performance of Pop, which was her solo debut back in 2022, for ABCD)

this is her second album and she ate! the first album was iconic - pop! Was literally everywhere in Korea it was THE 2022 summer jam , and yes nayeon is part of Twice

Nayeon's solo debut is "Pop", this is her comeback. also, Jihyo (leader of Twice) also has her own solo which I also recommend.

Keep in mind lots of idols have solo projects without breaking off from their groups, Nayeon already has a debut song as well as Jihyo. The Japanese line has their own song, too. I hope you react to their other projects, and TWICE's debut song. Their debut was very different from their cutesy follow up songs, which weren't my fave at first, but grew on me.

this song confused me in the first listen alone, and then listening again with you guys actually made me realize how much of a bop it is, it's sexy, it's witty, it pulls you in, drags it out and throws you off at the end in the best way possible

One of the reasons I love this song is the same reason I love the DallasK remix of DALLA DALLA, and that is the ambiguity of the Chorus and PreChorus. The original DALLA DALLA has a strong distinction between the Chorus and the "I Love Myself" PostChorus. That distinction, however, is blurred on the DallasK remix, where the Chorus acts as a beat drop that resolves in a powerful "I Love Myself". Same happens here, and it makes the song structure more interesting without much effort. My biggest complain is that the Dance Break is an MV Exclusive. JYPE isn't foreign to the idea of the actual song featuring the Dance Break, ITZY is right there. Including it would have made the song longer, which I assume is the reason they cut the Dance Break to have a Sub-3 song easily marketable, but most people do not care about lenght now, or actually prefer longer song. But the MV is always there, so this is not a miss-step bur a weird choice.

@@jamesarco27 ohhh the chorus and post chorus. isn't that the sequence after the dance break. after the dance break, we immediately go into a more minimalist version of the post chorus, then an outro, then the abcd chorus before the song ends. that might explain why people say that sequence is the best part of the song
