I just love the fact that eminem took the chorus of dream on for this song. The guitar solo is played by the guitarist of Aerosmith too which makes this even better.

Yeah, you should definitely react to this song! It's one of the best classic hardrock ballads of all times! The studio version is great, but even better live 1994 Woodstock, it's the best version in my opinion.

i agree about the chorus. there are rap songs that sample rock that don't work, or feel corny or forced but i think it's perfect here, and i'm not even huge on song, or the band. if i wanted to piss off an aerosmith fan i'd say this was their best moment lol and yeah, very good points on the 'epitome of hypocrisy' (i like how you phrase things). sure, younguns are known now for cancelling things, but this has been going on for a million years. rap was called vile, vulgar, satanic, rappers like em were picketed and protested against and people said the same thing about rock 'n roll in the '50s. it's the devil's music, it's not real music, etc. i hope when i'm 90 i won't say that about whatever comes after hip-hop lol 2080: 'this tech-hop wigback A.I.-core isn't music!! i remember music, i still put on billie eilish when i drive my spaceship. but as far as i'm concerned everything after that is noise made by space witches'

You can also win for production, choreographing , writing, directing, editing, mixing, and of course the music. There are many different ways to win a Tony without actually being in the performance.

Reacting to the censored version of this song (or any Eminem song) is criminal

Yeah back in the day people were on this guys ass all the time, protesting his concerts, his album launches, blaming him for all the ill in the world in the news and even in congress lol. He was the boogeyman. I suggest when it comes to eminem songs in the future search for the dirty versions which are uncensored. Problem with the songs especially his older ones is they hacked them apart to make them "safe" for radio and tv and you miss half of what he is talking about and some of his older songs are straight up changed for commercial release.

So Em allegedly pistol whipped Guerra back in the day when he saw him and Kim kissing. Em talks a bit about it in a few songs. He got sued and had to pay Guerra $100000 (I think). He got into a lot of trouble for that obv. There's an interview out there on yt of Guerra talking about the incident. It was kinda interesting to see "his side". He was convicted or charged the bouncer thing he got probation then he named a bully in brain damage song and that guy sued and judge rapped to the bully he wasnt getting a penny then his wife or ex now and his mom sued him

So with Gurrera. Eminem caught Kim kissing him outside a club. Em lost it, pistol whipped him and knocked him out. Em was charged with carrying a weapon, assault and more. His mom also tried suing him in the early 2000s so he was in court for that as well.

Him mom tried to sue him for slander/lying about her though. Which was dismissed. Because freedom of speech in America and there's nothing to say what he raps about isn't true

If we're being honest, it's because at the time eminem broke into the white majority and parents did NOT like the idea of their suburban white kids listening to a genre they considered to be for lack of a better word abrasive and trashy. It was all bullshit fueled by embarrassing racism, but it's the truth. He introduced people that would have been caught dead listening to rap and allowed them to ease into an entirely new genre and politicians especially did not like him speaking about the problems of the white american youth. Listening to white america, he touches on this aspect briefly.

Always type explicit and the name of the song. A censured eminem song is a crime againt the entire universe and his art.
