4:00 workings: 18->(1+8)*3=27 12->(1+2)*4=12 22->(2+2)*8=32 Following the logic the solution would be: 12->(1+2)*9=27
Answer for the 1 st question: ----> 8-5=3 the speed difference per hour. ------> 60/3=20 -------> 20*4=80
7:13 / 25:07 I got the answer 174% cos it asks for the INCREASED percentage let's assume the percentage is x, 5*5*5(1+x) = 8*8*8 x = 1.744 so the increased percentage is 174%

I thought so too.
16:16 / 25:07 Alternative solution let's assume Nicole's current $ is x, then Sarah's current $ is 1.5x the equation of both sides' original $ would be: 1.5x+500=2(x-500) x=3,000 so Nicole's original $ was 3k-500=2,500
question3 there is a mistake shown in the question slide. instead of 12*9. it should be 13*9.
Thanks for the content, was really helpful..

Please solve cube volume increased Q?
Answer to the cube sequence is D
The color box answer is D
Instead of bowl...i got blow is that correct too
Workings at 23:00 are wrong when you do 12 ÷ 2(3-1), you solve the parenthesis component first. 3-1 = 2. Then its 12 ÷ 2(2), you still solve the parenthesis component first which then becomes 12 ÷ 4 eventually getting to 3.

Wat is answer of cube
12/2(3-1) = 12/2(2) = 12/4 = 3 should be the answer. You have given as 12. First comes multiplication and then comes division.

Pls how to we solve question 5? The cube part? How did we arrive at 274%
@jubairen3040
Жыл бұрын
Volume of a cube= 'a' raised to 3 Volume of cube 1st would be 5 raised to 3 equals 125. If the side length increased by 40%, each side would be (5*40)/100= 7. In that case volume of 2nd cube would be 7 raised to 3 equals 343. Now, calculate the % of volume increase. (343/125)*100= 274%

Why not 4x260. By doing this we can find the value of rent one person is paying. And by multiplying by 5 to the value we get the total rent for the house.

The math question as 12 x 9 but answers offered is not correct, in the answer you changed 12x9 to 13 x 9. what the hell? Consistency is key if we are to learn from your tests!

How is 125/343×100=274.4%. I can't understand your calculation
@nathabjones2923

volume is base*width*height, if each side is 5 then 5*5*5=125, 5 increased by 40% = 7 so 7*7*7= 343. To get percentage 343/125=2.744*100 = 274.4% which we can round to 274%
@kishorechandrua4557

The answer in the cube problem is completely wrong. The correct way to calculate percentage change is; [(X_final/X_starting)-1]*100. For example, lets say that you've been selling something for 3$, but today you decided that you will be selling it for 6$. The percentage change will be (6/3)-1 and all that multiplied with 100%. That being said, the percentage change for this problem equals to 100%. Which means that it was an increase of 100% of its starting value. Following your reasoning, if the percentage change was (6/3)*100%=200%, you would have been selling your product for 9$. This is completely wrong, I do enjoy your videos & I am a subscriber, but please be careful because people will get confused in case they do not know how to tackle such problems. Anyway, cheers!

18:25 this calculation doesn't make sense, 125/343*100% doesn't equal 274.4% . am I missing something ?
13:54 answer is B ( if it Doesn't involve repeating, Just Think of the shaded as Numbers like 1,2,3 and Sum them Up , All have a common sum 15 , so choose the ones from the option accordingly!) Thank me later 😄🙌
