Khan gets so much hate. The second he got rocked it was clear he should have adjusted his gameplan and moved around more but he chose to go toe to toe with a massive puncher. Most fighters would start excessively clinching or running around the ring but Khan always knew what the fans wanted. It sucks how much disrespect he gets from the same people who he risked his own life to entertain.

Just good basic boxing style and enough pop to keep guys honest but he was the underdog in this one for sure. Khan was on a tear with roach, although he came off a tough fight with Peterson.

​@pretorious700 im assuming you were too young to remember. Khan was on a tear since joining the roach camp with Alex Ariza as his conditioning coach. The whole team at the time seemed unbeatable. So much so that ppl speculated Roach was giving Pacquiao and the others PEDs. Danny was a huge underdog. No one expected him to even be competitive.

Khan's weaknessess on full display here. Reckless offense, horrible sense of defense, and when he does get rocked, he tries to fight rather than just survive and get through it. Khan was so fast that he fell in love with his speed, but timing beats speed. Garcia timed him perfectly.

If khan was trained by mayweather sr. Khan probaby would be undefeated. He was winning all his fights until he got knocked out. SR. would have taught defense, and punch selection. With his hand and foot speed. He would have box circles around a lot of 99% of the fighters. Just someone says something about his chin. They are heavy in that gym of building neck and upper back strength to help absorb punches.

The Olympic silver medal win was simply a stroke of luck. He milked the British Pakistani community, left, right and centre in a very crafty and cunning way, with nothing to show for it. He used them to make his money. Without them nobody buys his fights.
