Kotilingeshwara Temple is a place with crores of shivling in the temple premises. Kotilingeshwara Temple is located in the Kolar district of Karnataka. It takes roughly 100 km to reach kotilingeshwara from Bangalore city. It is one of the best places to visit near Bangalore.
One of Asia's tallest shivling is in Kotilingeshwara mandir. A huge shivling measuring 108ft tall and 35ft tall Nandi statue are one of the main attractions of the temple. There are eleven small temples constructed within the premises for various deities. A water tank is set up close to the Linga, used by the devotees to perform Abhisheka.
