Your logic is Lux = lyrical, Daylyt = lyrical, so good match. NO. Daylyt puts punches together for the sake of stringing a bunch of double-entendres and wordplay into a mix. Lux is lyrical but has a thought pattern and substance to the way he writes. Lux has a cohesive story as where Daylyt will spit a bunch of random shit together as long as the punchline is hot. Even on his best day (no pun intended) Daylyt will have at least a choke or two with some dumb ass antic somewhere in there.

666P BLACK666 when future battles are done wireless with headphones, Daylyt might come back. I’m more surprised that no ventures like this haven’t been pursued. Many people use wireless earphones(I believe this will only get bigger because - it’s easier and people love ease of use), so this becoming part of the format seems likely(and people having one ear clear for the acoustic sound and the stereo sound).

+NOLAbrookz at the moment man, Bigg K is the only one I see beating Illmac. Iron is a legend but his bars sometimes can get outdated and become pretty basic, ie. Solomon vs Mook. Illmac will trash the fuck outta Rone & Caustic IMO if both were to bring their A-Game. If there was a URL rapper taking names in KOTD, Illmac could struggle. Only due to what we've seen in the past when he goes up against street rappers like Hollow, Conceited, Arsonal. Although he has made amends with a few serious wins lately, he has shown struggling signs against versatile street rappers like the 3 I just mentioned.

Ok as a lyricist and a battle rap analyst and fan I will say this Daylyt 2-1. If you give this battle to Iron Soloman I will not be mad at you. This is really a classic if you break down the bars both had. I didn't think Iron Soloman had enough to take on Daylyt but he did it. This is really a preference battle which is what a classic is in all honesty. It is debatable with decent replay value. Perfect for KOTD but not for a URL stage to keep it a stack. You gonna ask me which rounds I gave Daylyt, that would 2 & 3. I just believe his bar structure was better in the later rounds. Iron came out swinging in the first and edged it. 3-0 either way is not accepted and should be considered a troll and that is my final thoughts. Good look Organik and I got uh Clips 3-0 FTW haha

I'm in on this with +Olorhc, can't say much else. Daylyt knew EXACTLY what he was up against, and prepped it with 100% bars and 0% shenanigans. Iron, as he said while killing the first round, was battling his own legacy. He prepped strong and delivered hard, and I cannot WAIT to see him battle again. However, when the lights dim, Day was shining just a little brighter with that 2nd and 3rd. It was close, I think Day edged it. But I also don't care. I can't wait to see Day vs QP, and I'm still waiting for the next announcement to see who Iron's facing next. Win-win, I want them both to do again what they did this night.

Best battle of the year! I love that Daylyt actually came with bars and not shenanigans! I loved the sportsmanship they both showed throughout the whole match. But I give it to Solomon 3-0. He just had more each round. But this was a instant classic!

Iron is the king of personals...against Daylyt and Dizaster it's basically 6 rounds of personals completely directed at his opponent. I find that dope, since there are some rappers whose material can apply to pretty much anyone. It also shows that he really puts in work for his battles, not just copy and inserts rhymes from his past.

The most entertaining, civil battle rap I ever watched. Iron Solomon had a steady delivery, but Daylyt’s killer bars, rhyming scheme, and metaphors were no match. I call it a draw.

The Saurus vs Fresco is pretty similar but with even crazier and more consistent punches and longer lasting energy honestly. Both are incredible battles though don't favor one much more than the other, if anything I like this battle more because of the characters in it, but if you haven't checked out The Saurus vs Fresco, DEFINITELY do so

I take back the punches. Energy lasted longer and their flows were both very consistent and on point. But as far as the punchlines they're pretty neck and neck, might even favor this battle slightly with the "Goat, Go At it" line, that whole scheme by Iron with the assalamu alaikum to end it off was crazy, and both of their third rounds were incredible.

Too many bars from both sides that weren't given the reaction they deserved, & can i just say i appreciate a battle without an overabundance of Gun lines that build into a decent/sometimes dope punchline!! This was a DOPE battle!

Lyrically, delivery, flow, schemes, wordplay, everything, Daylyt is the secret king to this shit. I didn't start appreciating him until I REALLYZ started listening to each and every word he spits in his battles. He's seriously on another level with this compared to everyone. He's easily the most slept on battle rapper in the game.

jefrino Ali umar its almost even more of a perfect 2nd round BECAUSE of that. If you watch n listen to the crowd, they’re quiet like on the edge of their seats. Think on how that plays out over the rounds. That subconsciously has the whole crowd WAITING on his 3rd round, irregardless to what Iron does. He literally forced the entire crowd to do what he wanted, that’s some monster crowd control He did this same thing vs Calicoe in Detroit solo. It was a terrible crowd then and he controlled a crowd that was NOT tryna give him a chance to spit.

@@amanSpawn00 very good points i can see that although i personally prefer battler has an impressionable intro and unforgetable outro every round, this can vary from repetition bars like iron usually did or a tease for the next round like cortez's. the intro can be something building up to the meat of the round like pat stay in a way he craft different topic every round. for me it helps structuring the round to be more tidy and perfect. but i can def see why people said day's is perfect, he can hypnotize the whole crowd effortlessly.

That's Day's fault for not preparing as much. Sure you could argue the 3rd round but I gave that to Iron because 1. Day allowed him to finish and 2. The first 30% of day's 3rd pretty much didn't have anything to do with Iron
