That's an amazing ear and observation. I just re-watched only Day's rounds and he did rhyme ever rhyming pattern/scheme to rhyme with "recite". It's crazy cause in his first rd he says "I lined up every round perfectly yo-yo like". That dud wasn't bullshittin. Damn that shit gave me a whole new appreciation for Day's pen game. Gotdamn! That dude shit is on another level for real. How can a person even think to do that shit, knowing not many people gonna even notice it. I think that he literally just battles and challenges himself.

***** OK lets be real here. I like Aye Verb, he's definitely a big name in the game. He got Ws against some tough names and his 3rd round against Holla was arguably the greatest round in battle rap history. Now when it comes to the art of writing clever thought-provoking bars combined with a tight, consistent rhyme scheme (also known as a PEN GAME), I reiterate, he is nowhere close to being as good as Daylyt. Verb also has great showmanship and stage presence, but Day's stage presence is also great. Now personally I can't stand the people that wanna take away points from Day's pen game because he's a clown. That makes absolutely no sense to me.

Def. Tuff, on first listen I'd hand verb 2-1 I catch a good chunk of day, seems like he has a ton of filler just to keep his rhyme going which isnt conducive to producin reaction from the crowd... after you listen a couple time you can appreciate it more... still gave verb a 2-1

Respect. Verb must be a huge Day fan. First he basically said that Day could beat him, then stole his swag the 1st round, hyped Day up when he was gettin toasted, then dapped him up at the end like "damn, u went in"...Day 3-0, Verb's 3rd round was nasty, much props to the competition

when daylyt gets 'time' called on him to end his 2nd is prob the ONLY time i've seen him actually react and break character. he's so good at being 'daylyt' when in public and really making people buy into his battle rap persona. no knock on him, it's actually quite impressive. really wish we didn't get robbed of those last couple bars he had to close his second round... have a feeling he had some heat coming

He brings out of this world material with 0 filler. Then they say "It's not about bars man it's how you say them!". Daylyt brings A1 performance in the battles he know people will watch and against opponents he know have put in a lot of work that he respects. Then they "It's not about any of that man! It's about the battlers catering to what I understand!!!" LOL Well, they will never admit that last one. People hate and flip flop on battlers. I have learned from watching Daylyt and other battlers that the same people that hate you will love you and then hate you again. Those are the people that are killing the game. He's a troll though but it seems legit.
