Of all the fingerstyle players I know, Kotaro Oshio plays the neatest. Even his nail attacks are noiseless and perfect. In addition to that, he is able to balance technical skill and emotion very well while maintaining simplicity.

Perfect control of dynamic range. Slaps and all. I think it's magnetic pickup only, so extra noises don't come in too harsh.

this is such a great arrangement i always find myself coming back to it, so melodic and deep! Beautiful!!

I'm guessing those are the most carefully and lovingly manicured fingernails on this planet (he should have an insurance policy on them). Just listen to that pristine tone he gets out of that guitar! 3:06 - To me, this part is just nothing short of sheer brilliance- striking those harmonics in a way that sort of sums everything up with a few bold strikes. Beautifull.

I would love to know! The relatively new press on nails are really good when a nail breaks.

This has to be listened to with quality headphones or speakers to catch the incredible bass in this piece.
