this is probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever listened to in my life...

I decided to play the guitar when I met my first love. (I was 20) I tried to impress her and confessed 3times. However, always she was looking the other way. After 7years now, I often think about how she lives or who she meets. I really hope she lives happily. Anyway, thanks to her, I ended up loving the guitar and kept my grip on the guitar until now. Thank you for growing me up and good bye.

I'm a grown-ass man, and between the incredible nostalgia of this song from many years ago and Mr. Kotaro's amazing talent with the guitar, this damn near made me shed a tear. Just wonderful.

Every time I will cry when I hear First love played by Kotaro Oshio. I believe every time Kotaro will also be moved by himself when he plays this song...

Your first love is always alive and lives all the time in your heart. How much you try to forget it never goes away from your heart.

Good memories, thanks for uploading. After listening to this so many times I actually ended up dreaming with this audio. I was on a spaceship just over earth. It was a futuristic renaisssance. I found myself in a ballroom where the floor had a giant circular window. The earth was visible and the moon was seen on the window. All my friends that were pure of heart were there. I found a familiar face and started to dance with her until the song ended and had to fall back down to earth and wake up.

hey I know this tune! it was actually Hikaru Utada's song, " First Love ". Apparently in a survey in Japan, when asked what song for broken heart moments they want to hear the most, this song was rated by applicants in top 10.

ah heaven...this is the type of fingerstyling I love..there is so much emotion...not like the other fingerstylers that play the guitar without emotions..yeah they play very well and fast, but sometimes i can't feel the emotion...this is my favorite song played by my favorite guitar player...😢😍😍😘

She is my first love We met and decided to be in a relationship at elementary school for 9 years of bitter and sweet, love-hate, even if it was just childish memories. I never thought even once that we won't end up together. At that time, the funny thing is we always have some break up moments every last year of school. So when each of us went to the next school we always met at the same school. From Junior, Senior High School, even in college (that far away from our hometown) without any appointment. And in every first year of each school we end up together. Also in College. But in the second year during college, she focused on pursuing her career. Slowly, she was getting busier and the time we spent together began to decrease, and made she hard to reach. It is understandable. Long story short, we dived deep into each of our world separately. Walk our own paths. At that moment I was forced to believe that she might not be my destiny. That was very hard to accept, considering she is my first love from the first time I knew love for 9 years. I am 27 y.o now, and it's been the 7th year, since I learned to live my life without her. 2 days ago, I scrolled through something to watch on netflix, and read the movie desc that suits me. Once I found 'First Love' is inspired by Utada Hikaru's - First Love, I immediately watched it. Because, my first time hearing the song was when I was in Senior High School, by looking for other Mr.Kotaro fingerstyle cover to learn to impress her. She really likes it when i strum my guitar. It was this video that so beautiful, and made me wonder what the song sounds like. And It's even more beautiful. So Mr. Kotaro introduces me to heard the original song Yesterday when i finished the series, i was stunned for the rest of the day (its like playing my own brain cells that store those memories). And now I am here for the root cause how i heard this song. If somehow you read this comment, I just want to thank you for made me grow and learn, gave me priceless memories, taught me what it feels to love and to be loved. I like fingerstyle in a way that it can represent a song wholly, with the lower strings providing the base of the song with the arpeggios, and the higher strings with the main melody and even the accompanying harmonies. The song feels complete even when there's actually only one instrument playing.

As i sit here and hear this song,i remembered that my first love was in my primary school,at first she dint liked me..but as years go by..she said she liked me too...i felt so happy i could fly...but she betrayed me by poking me behind my back...i hated and loved her for 7 years...after hearing this song..i know that i must move on..and embrace the obstacle that life gives you...i moved on now but the sweet and bitter memory of my first love will always be with me .. =)
