A lot that has been happening these days in Yoruba land is bringing up a lot of horrible ones that are just ready to cause trouble or religious war in the land. There is Iwo Mufti there is the Ogbomosho imam that are very rude. These two are so rude, I can’t imagine any young Yoruba person that can be so rude and uncultured. There is also the case of the ingrate Muyideen in Ibadan, what some Muslims and imams are saying is uncalled for. There are a lot of other things happening. Good Muslims should start talking and preaching the good Islam.

Salam alaekun. You said only Allah knows the pius but you repeatedly said imamship talha was not ahlu sunna. Does Allah not say the ahlu kitab would never be pleased with you as Muslims. One fundamental problem with the some Muslims in ogbomosho is they ab initio subjugated Islam under tradition. 2. Imamship was erroneously determined by idile. This is what the prophet taught us. Allah says when they were called towards Allah they say this is what we found our fathers doing even if their fathers were wrong. 4. As to whether the imamship lied to get to that position, Allah knows best. I've read arguments for and against. The imamship would be wrong to obtain anything by falsehood.

First do not take a verse of the Qur'an out of CONTEXT to justify your opinion by saying the Ahla kitab would not be a friend to Muslim please kindly verify that in the same Quran Allah SWT said some Ahal kitab are pious but most of them have derail from the authentic teachings that was send to them. Secondly from your analysis or observation you said most Muslims in Ogbomoso have subjugated Islam under tradition... So this shows that you too have taken Islam to be a religion dated back to 1400 yrs ago but failed to realised that Islam. Is a WAY OF LIFE and what's tradition if not ways of life.... Islam is as old as humanity or to be specific Islam is older than humans as it is derive from one of the attribute names of Allah AL SALAM..... And all Prophets right from Adam Alayhi Salam were all Muslims and their religion was Islam. Lastly you quoted a verse refering to unbelievers when they said this was the ways of their father's or what they found their forefathers doing even if their fathers were wrong..... The said verses was between the Prophet SwalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam while addressing the unbelievers to abandon their IDOL worshiping and their rely was what you quoted but in this case you used it to boost your argument on IMMAMSHIP.... The imam should go and sort his problem, with his so called family who have disowned him. He should go and tell them who his father is, who his mother is and his father’s siblings. He is a young man, even if his father has passed on, his father must have siblings or cousins. How can no one know him in his family. He is expecting the King to use veto power to keep him in position. The king has decided to be neutral in this matter, he doesn’t want to be partial.
