Call of Duty on PC i hit quiksave right before a shell exploded next to me leaving me 15 health making me choose to either complete the mission like that or start over from the beginning i somehow beat the level using quiksave like every 10 secs

she actually is pretty good at most games. She learns fast. In this case she seems to have gone into the fight with a "whatever" attitude instead of paying attention. After the save mishap she beat him again easily.

It's actually a bit difficult to get particularly good at video games if you're constantly jumping between vastly different ones. It's a skill on it's own to be multitalented at varying games.

Not playing enough then. Hitting 40 now, I'm only improving. Except in FPS, definitely has a tad slower reaction time in FPS, but I still aim like a god.

@@GeorgeMonet It's because of science. It is a known fact that your reflexes slow as you get older. A child's reflexes are nearly immediate, while as one gets closer into adulthood and beyond, your reaction time dims a microsecond every 5 years or so.

@@the-NightStar you can compensate the loss of response with experience ... to a point. The brain loses plasticity with time also, so the older you get the harder it is to learn new gameplay mechanics. I am pretty good at games but I only played FPSs after 20 so I will never be as good as people who play since they were kids.

Luigi DOES suck at fighting Birdo, to be fair. That fluttering he does makes it such a pain to properly land on the egg without a ton of practice.

As I'm learning Japanese I recognize more and more of what she's saying while watching, and it makes it interesting to see how you choose to translate her. Like I've said before, I like your translations/clips the best of anyone's I've seen, for many reasons :)

I pick just based on what is the most entertaining to me. When I watch something, and there's a part where my immediate thought is "I want to share this part with someone", that's usually a good sign.

Thanks again for the translations! While the video is still new, I'd like to ask, is there any way to unite the VTuber translators under one group, like one big Reddit group? Or make a channel that everyone uploads their videos to? That way, translators could get more views and it would be easier for fans to find videos of their favorite VTubers (since some fans don't even know certain smaller translators even exist). I'd be glad to help if I could, it's sad that many Korone fans don't even know about this channel and many other translating channels due to them being so small.

Personally, I'm just doing this as a hobby and am not really interested in working with other people. I'm sure there are other similar cases. There are channels that have whole teams working on videos, though. You can follow @VTuberNotifs on Twitter; they tweet out new videos from a comprehensive list of Vtuber translators.

@@osakaki Oh, there's a twitter page? That's good. Maybe there's a way to simply make a Reddit page where a bunch of translators just post their videos? Do you think that would be good? Also, unrelated, but, assuming you aren't natively bilingual, how did you learn Japanese (or, I guess you could be Japanese and have learned English, which would make the question useless)?

I'm sure you could probably make a subreddit that has a bot that posts everything from the same list as that person uses, or reposts their tweets automatically or something. Maybe try getting in touch with them. I learned and continue to learn Japanese through self-study over a long period of time. Started with some very basic lessons from a friend's mom, then just doing stuff like learning kana, reading language books, etc. After that, trying to read stuff like manga/webcomics in Japanese and trying to translate them. That really brought me along faster.

I noticed recently, but... Korone isnt actually all that good at these old games. She just has a lot of patience.

Apparently she doesn't know the trick where you're invulnerable for a few seconds while you pickup a mushroom block, of course that invulnerability time depends on how slow you pickup things. This is one of the benefits of playing as Peach. Her slow pickup speed gives her the longest invulnerability while picking up mushroom blocks, which is perfect for dealing with bosses.

Lmao id have to quit for 20 minutes after that mistake
