Lyrics:
I am watching the rise and fall of my salvation
There's so much shit around me such a lack of compassion
I thought it would be fun and games, instead it's all the same
I want something to do, need to feel the sickness in you
I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again
It's quite deceiving as I'm feeling the flesh make me bad

Juan Ulloa Born in '96... but I remember hearing this stuff since before I was in kindergarten. Forever, this music has stuck with me. Linkin Park's "Crawling" and "In The End," Korn's "Make Me Bad," and "Coming Undone", most notably "Here To Stay,", System of a Down's "Chop Suey,", and "Toxicity," Mudvaynes "Happy?" and "Not Falling," a lot of late 90s and early 2000s Godsmack, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, and of course Alice in Chains, Sabotage, Queensryche, Megadeth, and Metallica. Being from the city during the '96-02 time period really shaped what I listen to as well.

Many comments say that Korn made them feel well about being "crazy" or "anxious". I'd say that Korn were promoting to be yourself, including feelings.

Korn had Issues which was their last really thought out album... Limp came out with Significant Other then the shitty Chocolate Starfish, Offspring I don't recall the album from 01 off the top of my head; pre-01/02 was Americana which I still bump today. Slipknot just had Iowa release... Also had MuDvAyNe tearing up the metal scene, Static-X also had new shit drop among some other bands in the early 2000's.

I remember specifically Make Me Bad as one of the last "metal" videos as MTV was going away from playing music videos. The massive money and audience that MTV had propelled music video budgets into the millions if you watch a video like Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson's "Scream" that shit costed like 50 million dollars. Nowadays bands DO NOT have more than maybe 20 thousand to spend on a video.

Probably my most favorite song from korn Guinness the way this song was written is incredible the way Johnathan mixed pop vocal with metal it majical
I like the way they play their instruments and dance at the same time

This video has really good production values. People joked about nu metal for a long time but if you looked in the right places you could find a lot of talent and substance that people were really passionate about

I love the dark atmosphere of this song. The way Davis sing "though it would be fun and games" gets me every time. It's my favorite Korn song.

my favorite KoRn song. legends. ♥
Korn music will never die!!!
Lyrics I am watching the rise And fall of my salvation There's so much shit around me Such a lack of compassion I thought it would be fun and games (It would be fun and games) Instead it's all the same (It's all the same) I want something to do Need to feel the sickness in you I feel the reason As it's leaving me No, not again It's quite deceiving As I'm feeling The flesh make me bad All I do is look for you And when I fix you needed to Just to get some sort of attention Attention What does it mean to you? (What does it mean to you?) For me, it's something I just do (I just do) I want something I need to feel the sickness in you I feel the reason As it's leaving me No, not again It's quite deceiving As I'm feeling The flesh make me bad I feel the reason As it's leaving me No, not again It's quite deceiving As I'm feeling The flesh make me bad I feel the reason As it's leaving me No, not again It's quite deceiving As I'm feeling The flesh make me bad (does it make me bad?) this is definitely one of my favorite korn songs

Back when bands gave their fans masterpieces like these videos to enjoy, not because they needed to, but because they wanted to.

I like how Korn is such a dark band but all of their fans act so happy when listening to Korn that's how you they were truly unique and one of the greatest Metal bands of all time
Still one of my Faves. Back when MTV played EVERYTHING and introduced you to artists across genres. I’m 31 and I think my generation is the last that got to enjoy this. They’d play Hoobastank and followup with Biggie or WuTang lol BEAUTIFUL
Crazy how Fieldy fit so well into this band lol he seemed like a straight up hip-hop guy

I agree 👍. His playing also shaped that signature sound that is unmistakably Korn. I could go on and on about slap and pop (mainly slaps) on bass but how it is integrated into their music... pure perfection.

2024 right here bro!!! Go Korn Go!
This is absolutely 100% one of korns top five songs. And corn is 1000% one of the best bands of the 90s 2000s
I remember when I was a kid, I've heard this track for the first time, now I'm 31 and it still gives me the same feeling. That chorus drum line combined with the slap bass is just out of this world, it's the one that gives this song something that you can't put your finger to
This video is a trip down memory lane for me.
I'm 14 years old and people say my music taste is really bad when I just listen to the best group. Korn
