ahhh ok cool how do i put patch banks on the drive the bit dont under stand is my stick came preformatted so 00 has a bank in an99 has factory rest in all the others say empty when i put stick into the pc its just a 1.44 disc that is full with no where to save data

hi, you cant save the sounds direct from pc to your usb stick and load them to the triton. the Format aint compatible. you need to Format some pages on the drive - 000, 001 etc and then you can send with midi your sounds to the board and save them on the usb stick

+yoll d hey its the same thing as formating a floppy disk on your synth press DISK - go to the section Ulity - on the top, of right side you can open a pop up. There you will find the option Format after that push the UP button on your Drive to get the next page - 001, 002 and so on and do the same steps. that should work for you if the drive wont read your usb stick its too big. ive read that these drives can handle only sticks with up to 8gb space. i use one with 4gb no problems here btw. today i charged my phone on the synth while a session on it

What do you mean the "format ain't compatible"? The Triton uses the standard DOS format which is 100% PC compatiable, so the drive emulator software should be able to load a usb stick with up to 100 disks...

i never touched the software but i tried to load some soundbanks from laptop to a usb stick and that didnt work on the trinity. had to send the sounds over midi

I got one GOTEK emulator for my Trinity too. However I cannot change drives unless I power down the Trinity and do a new selection on the floppy emulator. Removing the pen is not a solution because the Trinity remains pointing always to the same virtual drive it has found in first place after pressing the disk access button on the Trinity. I have the 2.41 trinity OS version. How did you manage to achieve the virtual floppy change with your keyboard. Is it a jumper problem on the emulator? I would appreciate an insight from you. Thank you.

dont really know how to understand that the emulator is compatible only up to 4 gb usb`s and a bit slow i have the same os and it works fine no jumpers or something like that did you flash your usb stick on your trinity first? every single page from 00 to 99 or the first 2 for test ?

MusicProduction Maftsis Thanks for your help. I formated the pen first on the PC using the USB_Floppy Manager program that created 99 virtual drives, then after the usuccessful tests, I reformated using the Gotek firmware by pressing simultaneosly the 2 buttons of the emulator. The results are identical. It seems that the drive change signal is not recognized by the Trinity hardware. Maybe its a Trinity problem. I got the Gotek after the disk drive failed to work. Maybe something went wrong when the drive failed.
