This is crazy. Fantastic video. I just got my XD two weeks ago, but haven't really dealt with the sequencer yet. This helps me tremendously. I'm 55, and at this point i'm jokingly wondering how the frick anyone ever learned anything before there were youtube videos. I can't imagine how convoluted and ridiculous a printed manual would be for getting to grips with what you're showing so beautifully right here. Thank you.

Nice video very clear. One bonus is to empty the sequencer notes and play a note while sequencer is on to have kind of automation of your sound

If you want to really get the best motion experience, slow down the clock as much as possible, this gives you much more tweaking per step and you get a better performance imo. Then use the XD to be the master clock for your gear and then try sequencing a few synths, you will be amazed with what you can do.

Thanks for watching. Let me know if you still need help. There is an actual button in the edit mode menu to clear motion data. Just twist the knob when you get there and choose execute.

Great for sequencing

One can sample EVERY motion as a Midi Data and record it in a DAW (Cubase)...and the we can have tons of Motions data at the same time, lol, well, as much as it's possible to pump out back to the synth via Midi. We can have say 8 lanes of different motion data going on, etc. The problem is of course the Midi, it's a serial datastream so there can be delay and artefacts but worth trying.

Still an awesome synth in 2024
