A proper manual world be nice too... I'm sure there are some undocumented features we don't know about. They're still selling these without software updates which is annoying. Novation circuit has been getting regular updates.

Thanks for watching :) indeed, before i knew how to do this i used to rely on samples for percussion, but there is so much cool sounds you can create from scratch with drum synthesis

Interesting approach looking similar to the way you will build sound an analog rytm somehow, but cheaper and also VA instead of analog. This machine is super underrated and shounds simply amazing. Thanks fo rsharing :)

Exactly! Its easy to forget that under the hood of this "groove box" lay down quite a powerful synth engine that is capable of producing many interesting sounds :)

please do more tutos on synthesis??? i have lots of frustration when using this machine... either to make nice kick sounds or any good synth sound..

I agree, there are only 1-2 really good kicks on this model that i really find myself using. The rest are just useless to me. And sure thing about the tutorials! I am really glad you like it! 🙏🏻

Pads and leads are also areas where the Electribe 2 sucks big time. They made the notes to cut off each other, so while the sound is polyphonic, the envelope is monophonic, so ridicules. The way I overcome this is by applying a delay from the insert effect, or a reverb from the master effect. Its kind of ok but I would not rely on the Electribe for good pad or lead sounds

On the positive side, the synth oscillators are really good in my opinion, and with a few modulation settings you can get really cool sounds. so I try not to think about it as a 1 machine to do everything, and find its strengths area

@@RandomNoiseMusic I have other gear too and I find myself only looping kicks and maybye some other minor drums on top (but nothing fancy) .. Idk... it feels rather basic and nothing “extraordinary” ... but maybye I am just bad at using it.. I’ve had it for a year a half more or less

E2 is not analog..its a VA kick
