Yes saree is very much worn in India, especially when there is some special occasions like wedding, festivals, functions etc.
Many older Indian women wear sari everyday. These are simple ones that are mostly made out of cotton. Young women generally only wear them for parties, festivals and weddings. These are very colourful and made out of silk, chiffon and other rich materials. Hairstyles vary a lot according to region and fashion. Hair can be tied up or left open. I have been to Korea and worn Hanbok too. It's very pretty just like the Koreans!
This is daily base SARI not a wedding dress...or something Mainly indian ladies always wearing SARI

Few are wedding sarees. Materials are top quality pure silk with zari, polka design, some are banarasi style, some are kanchipuram, paithani, uppada etc. 😊
These aren't wedding sarees.. However you can choose to wear it to weddings... But they are the just usual sarees.. Not the grand ones!

They look absolutely like wedding sarees but they wore it in casual way with single pallu. In wedding the brides pallu is pleated at the shoulder
More than 5 ways are there to drap a saree. And in our country we wear it on daily basis. There are different types of traditional clothing in India, for instance, traditional wear for a girl child in southern India is full length skirt and top with a unique way of stitching, girls wear davani( half saree) during their teenage, and saree after their teen age. But these days we have adapted to north Indians dresses too.

In north India, lahenga dress (with embroidered dupattas) and suit salwar is more common on daily basis especially in Raj, Haryana, Punjab and on little eastern side, like Bihar, Jharkhand again Saree is worn on daily basis. I guess Saree is largely worn in India except North-Western or North-Eastern part, there too people wear on wedding functions etc

Not every Indian wedding is same, except for 2 or 3 aspects. And the traditional costumes too differ a lot which even includes the materials used.
India is so different and full of mysteries and so many traditions These sarees are very common that all women wear on daily basic And for traditional also wore more heavy sarees or lehengas or more indian dresses... But the traditional costumes are very different Like india has 30 states and every states has their own traditions and culture and language and foods and different types of color peoples too... Thats why india is so colorful...

There are pure silk sarees with real silver or real gold threads. But artificial gold thread is also used now.

You should react to Lakme fashion week..!! As for saree, there are thousands of varieties / design/ prints in a saree..it depends on which region they come from.
I saw a video of an Indian wearing hanbok and I was really impressed with the patterns, hairstyle and makeup. It was really eye catching.
If you see nowadays Indian culture, it is fusion of traditional and modern culture. We do accept modern culture but we never forget our root. Yes, Indians wear saree in their daily lives and these aren't wedding saree. Also I don't think that girl is Miss India maybe she's just a model. Except saree there are other traditional dresses also and most of the region/state have their own way to wear saree.
Yup, we wear sarees for all type of special occasions... In India we don't have prom but we have Farewell and we love to wear it. Even college fest have a special day for ethinic wear.
In rural India sari is worn by 99% women whereas urban areas are adapted western or some other traditional dresses, but still it's worn by them on different occasions.
Sari is the world most fashionable and unexpired cloth ever. For thousands years indians ware saries and will be also.
The hanbok is exceptionally beautiful.. yes women wear this on a daily basis in india.

Indians do wear saree in regular life but it is not compulsory.we wear traditional clothes in wedding and daily life😊u will see women wearing saree, salwar suit on streets, malls everywhere in india
A sari is wore on daily basis by most of the Indian women..and there are many ways of draping these sarees along with their weaving styles...it would not be to much to say but a whole encyclopedia can be written about the sarees and their draping styles....

Woaahhh.. Being an Indian i didnt even know something called "sare fashion show" existed!😅😅! Well, there are many things about India i still have to know!!
Sari is a usual dress of india
I have watched Korean Dramas based on historical plots and I feel hanbok is elegant.
Song is old version
In Korea I think ladies wore hanbok occasionally but in india ladies wore saree as regular wear basis..🙏🙏 even though it's a code dress in schools for teachers..
I'm 100% sure that no other country uses as many colours as we indians use😃😃😃...... And we young generation wear saree for special occasions.. But our before generation wear saree daily.... And the song is one of the bollywood hit song.... Yes we wear heels...
Ohh well I love hanbok it's beautiful and simple..but the thing is ....is hanbok wore like a dress or there are some Techniques to wear hanbok..love from india❤️❤️
In India they defs wear Sari more often than hanbok. Some older people still wear sari's 24/7 but it will be cotton and more comfortable. But now a days especially with younger kids we stick to more western clothes but when it comes to special functions young adults and older people will almost always wear a sari. In some aspects of indian culture especially with Hindus you can only wear a sari after your first period. Sari's are often worn to religious places like temples churches etc
Sari An Attire In Which Every Girl Looks Gorgeous . Ladies Here Wear Sarees Very Often And It's Just Wonderful Dress To Wear . It Can Be Traditional , Graceful , Fashionable , Heavy , Light Etc . In Short It Come With Large Varieties . No Boundation On Hair Style For Saree .
Cool
These aren't per se modern sarees but they fall rather on the traditional side of sarees. They aren't in line with current fashion trends because the point of this show is evidently to show traditional wear instead of latest and relevant trends. You won't really find much people wearing these to weddings necessarily but these sarees certainly show a very little percentage of the cultural heritage of India (because there are so many more styles and kinds of sarees that it would months to cover them and they actually didn't really show a good variety either, it was quite lacking in this aspect) Also they take months of work, manual labour, creativity, super-expensive fabric and what not. They are usually very expensive if you are going for the authentic ones.
I've been familiar with hanbok for years now & I love it. Would love to try wearing one someday maybe :)
Yes Sari is the National Costume of India so, they usually wears Sari
Saree is a national dress code of India! Most important part of indian culture . Saree is worn by indian women's on daily basis only stuffs can be changed during special occasions cuz we have varieties of stuffs😅( According state to state). Its not just a dress but actually emotion😌❤... That's all!!!
Please react to Lakme fashion week
My mom wear in office most of the time..so it's common.
Yes we wear it on daily basis
There are women in india who wore only sarees after their marriage, its like an daily cloths for rural people, they are really colorful.
These r not wedding sarees . It's more likefor small events. And saree is always colorful and their patterns, design ,print everything differs from state to state. I think these sarees r traditional.

And yes, saree is a everyday clothes for many indians. It's not a special day dress.
Sarees are very commonly worn in India, specially in West Bengal, South Indian states.
Well We ppl attached with our culture so we wear Indian clothes proudly We accept modernity but our culture is important too for us
I like hanbok more than Sari, it looks cute
You should also watch Indian bridal lehnga's I think you'll also like it.
In India ladys wear saree on regular days.
Saree is worn on a daily basis, functions, occasions, festivals, etc. by many women. It's traditional clothing which is loved by many people. Not every woman wear it every day. It depends on person to person. And there is a huge variety of sarees like Paithani, Banarasi, Kanchipuram, etc. There is a lot which you can learn about saree.
We wear saree daily. My grandmother wear saree even at home, my mother wear it when she goes for work, church or other functions. But I am 20 yrs. So I wear it at college functions only.
Sari is not only for occasions , many wear it as daily wear in India.
There are different types of saree with different colours and fabric for different occasions. These are not daily use sarees. Daily use saree are light weighted, light colour easy to handle. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🇮🇳
Most of the people in India usually wear sarees and there are different styles of sarees like marati, gujarathi, andhra styles. Each region have their own style on wearing saree
Not necessary hair should be tied up... Its upto the person which hairstyle to keep... Here probably they did bcoz of back deep neckline... To show the design & pattern of the blouse.
Watch lehenga ramp walk . Pls
Usually saree ends at left shoulder to keep right hand free, Some areas wear salwar kamej or lehengga ghagjra on daily basis, but still in national level saree is the most common daily basis cloth for women
There is safety pin on the left shoulder 🤣🤣
