No question… the Korean singer was singing in a well set up sound system, in a controlled environment while the Filipino singer was singing outside in an open space, hard to control sound perfectly… having said all this, the Filipino singer did it incredibly, unbelievably!

They’re both good singers. The Korean singer is on stage and inside a studio equiped with engineered sound system, while the Filipino singer is outside, no preparation and was emotional while singing a hard song. I think the Filipino singer sang it better.

When Filipinos perform a song, they always are so passionate about it making it their own by injecting their personalities. They don't just sing it according to the music sheet. There is always a flair of showmanship and most times comedy too. It doesn't matter if the vocals is not perfect. The Korean did great with the vocals though.

When Filipinos sings with soul, full of compassion, enjoying the moment and most of the singers can sing the song clearly. Out of tune doesnt really matters, happiness giving entertain is the priority. 😊
As a Filipino, I can confirm that we go crazy with our voices when we sing. We may not have the best equipment, but we have the greatest hearts, and the will to perform as crazy as that. Everywhere there is a karaoke machine or a band, whether it’s in the mountains, or the urban places. I’m really glad that people enjoy our music!

Though their singing style is way different both of them are good in their own right. Personally, the Korean guy seems to be professionally trained while the Filipino guy is I think self taught with a natural talent in singing.😊

I missed the times when Live bands dominates in every concerts in the Philippines. It's very affordable and surely have a lot of fun. Unlike today, expensive concerts and the vibes is slowly changing.
I'm not undermining Korea but with this very difficult song you can only find just few professional singers in Korea that can rock this song while in the Philippines you can find many of them and yet none are even considered professional singers just random karaoke lovers who loves to belt. Like they been eating CD's their whole life😂

Most Filipino are just naturally talented in terms most of singing and dancing. Maybe because of our old culture. Even in courting a woman he like or love. Yall thats not even a fair fight. The Korean was on a set stage with some setup behind stage to fix the mic, while the Filipino was on a stage outside. They should have chosen the ones with the same setting and the same setup. I remember there are Filipino singers that went to television singing this like the Got Talent. Or they could have some random Korean sing in a karaoke or simple stage outside like the Filipino dude. Tho the only difference here is not the training that, btw im sure they both got, with the difference being that the Korean may or may not have a music teacher. Ofc the Filipino guy would have practiced singing on his own, we Filipinos have a poor country despite how talented we are. Another difference is that the Filipino guy was not shy to be exorcised, a lot of us here are just that dramatic when it comes to performances

for those who dont know how filipino sing, its beacuse we dont sing using our vocal chord. we sing from our diaphragm, we only use vocal chord to adjust the sound perfectly mimicking it. so it doesnt matter what body position we are in as long we have air on our diaphragm we can mimic a song. think of it like a plastic whistle, you blow air through it it makes a high pitch sound, the stronger you blow air the higher the pitch. we sing just like that. also your throat hurt when you sing using vocal chord.
