I really like it but pretty many of my friends don't But the only thing that you need to know is that Fazer Finnish chocolate is seriously the best no other country has better chocolate and that santa clause comes from Finland that's important too!

The only thing you need to know is that Finnish people like to hide salmiakki in every candy possible. Salmiakki is therefore unavoidable, but it works as a pretty good practical joke :D

Secret of salmiakki is to taste that perfect balance between saltiness and sweetness. Take a while to train taste buds to get it, but after you find that magical balance, salmiakki is very nice.

It took me 18 years to enjoy the taste of salmiakki. I have always liked licorice but salmiakki just few years. So yeah it might took a while to get used to the strong taste

I am an Indian in Finland. I have not yet tasted Salmiakki but I have had sweet licorice which I realized is used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine.. Its good to cure digestive and respirative distress..

I like salmiakki! It's so good😋 But licorice is like sweet salmiakki!

Salmiakki is basically liquorice that’s is flavoured with the salt called salmiak (ammoniumchloride, NH4Cl) so salty = salmiakki, sweet/bitter = just liquorice 🤗

All us Finns out here craving the salmiakki and liquorice candys! Those are the best ahhhhhhh
