One of the best things in Finland are those summer nights when it's sunny and warm and the lake is like a mirror. The water is so warm and you can swim for a long time. When you get too cold you can go to sauna to warm up.

I think that Finland is underestimated as being a good summer country. As a native finn I can say that if weather is good in summer Finland is just awesome. Nature is so beautiful and it also gives a lot of activities to do. For example you can go fishing, swimming to a lake (in summer their water temperature is usually like +18-25 degrees so it's pretty pleasant to swim). And luckily in last few years summers have been warm and not those rainy ones, which are not rares in Finland. Yes Finland is a beautiful country especially in summer.🥰🇫🇮🌄 My profile photo is from my summer cottage from North Karelia and it's absolutely fantastic out there.

The weather is best in the late spring summer and early fall but if you can brave the winters, they have their won very harsh beauty. Just bundle up cuz it can get to -40 C.

1:30 as a Finn who has always hated wintersports, youre doing amazing! I would prefer the temperatures you mentioned as long as öakes for swimming were available. Since the good swimming season in Finland last for less than 3 months, yet we got like 10% covered in water (and mostly small lakes with plenty of well maintaned beaches)

Many of the words in Finnish are related to ones in Korean and Japanese, especially to Korean words. And it's a lot of words that are similar. Also as well as to Turkish and Mongolian words. It's a Ural Altaic sprachsbund now. It used to be called a family but they couldn't back the idea that all of the main ones descended from the same protolanguage.

There are lots of spaces to mosquito enter the house. The mosquito net need to be tight, if the holes have the size of the mosquito with wings closed, it can pass with a low probability, but I saw one passing, luckily, it came with high speed, close the wings and passed in from of my eyes. Little gaps in windows or doors can let too. And for the last, some mosquitoes rest in the door outside, and when you open it, you have a new room mate.

Hello soulmate! A few days back I read an article from newspaper, that wings is the number one most ordered delivery food in Tampere. When you said wings I was "what...really?" Then you showed the Siipiveikot sauce and I went: "ahaaa!" What happens in summer in Korea, do people escape the heat from the cities and go to country side? Does Soul have good beaches, or do you need to leave the city? Yeah that Korean summer is a bit too much for me. Summer is the only season in Finland I really love: not too cold, not too hot, just temperate and gentle. Every other season I wouldn't mind if I beamed to some random place of Earth (just crossing my fingers it isn't 🐧🐧🐧 Antarctica 🐧🐧🐧). But then, if one is from a real 🌴 warm place 🌵, then Finnish summer wouldn't be warm enough. Oh that was an interesting observation you had about Korea's culture changing what comes to private personal matters! Actually I'm surprised it changes to the direction you said. Because in social media people carelessly share EVERYTHING, I was thinking more likely the change would be towards less privacy. Any idea what's behind the change? Yeah the Finnish coffee roasters buy the best - and most expensive - coffee beans in the world. That's one reason why it tastes better than your random foreign coffee roaster's product. But we don't have that coffee culture where you have 1001 different kinds of coffees with most extraordinary toppings. Cheers, enjoy your wonderful season in Korea!

As someone who hates mosquitos and can not sleep if they are in my room, they often fly through open holes and if your doors are open. Use more mosquitos nets, open only windows with nets and close your doors, esspecially those leading to your bedroom. Always have a venom spray around. Mosquitos like to hide in shady places (i. e. behind/under furniture) and attack, when it's dark. Sometimes, they might stil attack, if there is light. Spray venom in the entire room, in case you can't find them and in all tight spots to get them out of their hiding. One sprinkle is enough, to kill them.

In Finland there is over more than 2 million saunas. In Finland every person has access to sauna. If people don't have their own personal sauna they still have the apartment complex sauna. Everyone has their own turn and everyone has at least 1hr time to go to sauna every week. Also in apartment complex saunas there is usually some days "lenkki sauna", women go together and men go together at their own turn. Usually everyone has their own sauna tho. Not just in houses but in apartments too. There is also "savu sauna" in Finland, usually in people's summer gottages. It's just like sauna but it's filled with smoke, pretty weird that one. In conclusion Finnish people love their sauna.

Hei!😉 i want to tell you something about finland xD so here's: 1, "tourists" usually go near Helsinki, and they talk about the fact that Finland is not as beautiful as others say. I recommend traveling to Lapland! 2, ice hockey is really popular and a big thing in Finland! the right hockey games are every year, but not this year because of the corona😭(I love watching hockey! it's a tradition!!) 3, Alcohol... Yes. Finnish is not the only country where you drink a lot of alcohol, but Finns usually like it! (I don't.) 4, Salatut elämät are a popular drama series in Finland! this series has over 3000 episodes :) 5, Schools? Hah! boring everyone thinks. Finnish is not the only country where schools are certainly hated, but many Finns find schools boring.. 6, many Finns are racist(was it surprising?). I will not continue this :)).. 7, Moomins! (🇫🇮 Muumit) Moomins are a very popular children's movie! (I love moomins!!!!!) 8, Mämmi😈 you know mämmi, all right? Mämmi is an Easter delicacy😋 9, Lakko is one of the video authors with lots of followers! (500,000 and soon 600,000) 10, "TORILLA TAVATAAN!!🇫🇮" Finnish people usually celebrate at the helsinki market when Finland wins the ice hockey games! "Torilla tavataan!" the word has also become an inside joke. if a foreign person says something about Finland online, for example, the Finns will immediately comment on this word! 😂🏒❄️ My English is bad sorry....! but yes... you are a beautiful and wonderful person! ❤️ you go girl!! Pidä hyvä päivä okei! Ei mulla muuta moii😙💙

SoulofSol: it's too humid in Korea! I can't bare those mosquitos, and bugs and things! Me: *laughs in Virginian summer/hell* No joke though, I really want to move to Finland! I love skiing and cold weather and all that. Virginia in the summer is horrible.
