New hangeul learner here! Here's a tip to memorize the vowels, worked for me so I hope it can help you too! Just remember the 4 directions: North, South, East, West and notice that the vowel structure faces that way ㅓ- /eo/ pron. "oh" - *wEst* ㅏ - /a/ pron. "aah" - *eAst* ㅗ - /o/ pron. "ooh" - *nOrth* ㅜ - /u/ pron. "ū" - *soUth*

To everyone who thinks its impossible, Its HELLLAA easy! Dont look at it as a bunch of sticks, that'll confuse you. Just write each constant/ letter over and over and just memorize the letters over and over. I learnt it in abt less then 2 months. Yes, it's easy if you focus. There are some letters that look the same but hv different pronunciations. Only a couple of them dont worry. Writting hangul and reading it everyday helps the process of learning alot faster(just a hint) Edit: theres this video that I learnt how to read and it's an hour long. Its hellllllaaa useful. Just search up 'how to read hangul' itll be first one. And thanx sis for this video, I'm sure everyone learnt alot. Hwaiting ☺💛👏🏽

And I'm here again to learn it because I'm still stuck at a beginners level. I'm already 18 and currently my relative explained to me that it's much better if i learn other languages other thanmy mother tongue and English. 4 years ago i tried studying hangeul by myself thru apps 'Write it Korean', and all i can say, if you're really persistent in learning the basic alphabets matututunan mo talaga siya within a day or two, i started learning it dahil sa Running Man 😉 kasi super daming celebrities and idols ang nag-gueguest. Nakakatulong din ang pagkanta ng Korean kasi matututo ka kung paano ipronounce. 👍and minsan kapag nanonood ako ng kdrama nasasabayan ko na siya kahit di ko nababasa agad subs kasi alam ko na yung ibang basic words and sentence. 😊Hallyu wave hits me hard 😅😃 PS. napanood kita sa Dr.Romantic 2, ang swerte mo Cherish unnie nakita mo si KimSabu 😁😊

Sameeee. I did the same. It took me a week to learn hangeul. The best way is through songs and dramas. Copying what they say, etc. I also find it fun to go around stores to read korean packaging. Korean books are good too, nahirapan nga ako sa una mag basa ng pag bata na libro pero kakayanin.
