I speak 5 and am currently learning Chinese so I understand the confusion. For me “yah” is natural to say since I have been saying since I were a child and it also is apart of my language. It means the same thing as the Korean “yah” but some people immediately assume I’m a koreaboo (?)😂 Edit: I forgot to mention Aish is also in my language

Cosplaying as anime characters doesn’t make you a weeb, especially not if it’s just for an event/con. Cosplaying in public doesn’t necessarily make you a weeb either it’s just plain out cringy. Yougurt Person ok so just to reply to this, it's kinda unfair to straight out judge the specific video at this point, this is a dance group cover for BTS that actually performed at a convention, I am a part of this group but was not on this video because I wasn't well after our performance, we were excited and we cosplay as BTS for fun, my friend who is filming this amongst the rest are learning Korean and speak it quite well now so I hope you can understand that even thou some people may consider this to be "cringy" we are all young at some point and if anyone tries to tell me they haven't had one memory the look back on and think omg what was I doing they would be lying to you, also we may not be the best dancers in the world but you should never do something based on whether your good or not you do it to enjoy yourself and you don't see people poking fun or making cringe videos about people being drunk. I think my point is, is that coupling our short live which was aimed at a specific 'younger' audience at the time with bad make-up videos or pictures of comments about Jimin is a bit unfair. Hope you understand :)

I actually am RM of the group that's why he wasn't in that specific video also unfortunately our Suga dropped out last minute so we had to perform as a 6 rather than a 7 which is such a shame, although we have 7 members now, most are the same and we also want to Branch out to perform from other groups rather than BTS as we all love many groups within kpop such as Twice, Red velvet, NCT, Exo, and loads more (I only became a kpop fan in 2016 but I am slowly getting into more groups, although its hard work when you have exams XD)

Completely unrelated, but that song about hating yourself is the biggest mood ever

I use that hand motion a lot because it's easier to do in selfies because one hand, but koreaboos tend to overuse it with "saranghae" and stuff.
