Hi! I have been watching your videos since the pandemic started and recently, I was watching some of your past videos again. I am commenting for the first time to give some words of encouragement. I want to say that I admire Sarah's positivity and being tolerant on basically almost everything. Kuyho is really lucky to have found Sarah! While many couples went separate ways during/after the pandemic, you both stayed strong and became even stronger over the years. Idk if you know this Sarah, but if you take the top two leaves off the basil plant it’ll encourage a bushier plant because the plant will divert its energy into putting out more lower branches. This helps the plant be less “leggy” and more round and robust.

Could you guys do a night out is Seoul? You do a lot of day, but not much at night.. would be fun to watch 🎉

As a pianist myself, yeah, not many people are buying real pianos anymore not only because of space, but because electronic keyboards have come so far in terms of quality and feel (like weighted keys), it makes it preferable to have an electric keyboard that you can like..carry around, or fold up and put away. I actually sold my baby grand piano that I’d had for 20 years about a year ago (to my piano tuner, lol) because I needed the floor space in my home. My family gifted me with an electric keyboard for this past Christmas, and it’s really impressive how nice it is compared to a real piano. =) I am glad to hear that tourism has gone back up, I remember the segment you guys did while you were talking about all of the places that closed down during the pandemic and tourism restrictions and how bad it had been for the economy. The electronics thing makes me think of all the radio shacks here in the US, lol, how they’ve gone out of business. And Circuit City, too. The cherry blossoms are looking gorgeous! I am excited for next week’s vlog too! Have a nice week, guys!

@@2hearts1seoul I am genuinely surprised at how good keyboards have gotten in the last 20 years! I held out for as long as I could as a "it has to be real" snob because the keyboards I had played when I was younger were garbage - and it was extremely difficult to find keyboards that were full (had all 88 keys). That's not the case anymore! It's really awesome, because my old piano was 5 foot by 5 foot, and that footprint ended up just being too much of a space hog in my home. Having the keyboard on a foldable stand that I can just pick up and put in a closet has been so nice!

Another issue with pianos is that it actually require specialty piano movers to move them. My friend tried to sell a piano on facebook, but in the end she had to pay movers hundreds of dollars (maybe up to $1K CAD) to get rid of it.

@@skatingcanuck9837 Also true! We had to have the piano moved into our home separately from the rest of our belongings and selling it also required a lot of coordination with specialty movers to get it out (our property is very steep, not ideal lol).

The turn of winter to spring is my favorite seasonal change and the month of April is one of my favorite months of the year. Everything blooms, nature is getting green again, and everything is so full of life. ✨🌸🌱🌳

그렇죠. 3월 말 부터 5월 초 까지는 봄 빛이 따스하고 만물이 올라 오던 시기 였는데, 요즘은 봄에서 급격히 온도가 올라가는 초여름으로 쉽게 바뀌는 듯 합니다. ^^

I really wanted to go to that Electronics Land place near Yongsan Station Last year. I heard they have one of Seoul's last DVD Stores and I wanted to look for a few movies that are difficult to find on the streaming sites. The place was huge but, parts reminded of the electronics place you visited here.

Agreed. Korea wasn't as much of a culture shock as it was an environmental shock for me, coming from the Evergreen State of Washington (USA). Winters seemed so desolate, so dry and brown. And cold without snow?! The cafes kept me alive and happy throughout the winters. But spring is the best ❤ As for SCOFF, I went to that same one last November and had a so-so experience. But, if I'm in the area, I'll give it another chance since you raved about it. Everyone and every place deserves a second chance. Enjoy the spring 🌱

Filming takes between 1-3 days, and editing takes 2-4 days 😅 Although you see a 15-ish minute final video, we actually have around 1-2 hours of raw footage that needs to be edited down. We then enhance the audio, do color correction and color grading, add music, captions, and Korean subtitles. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that you don’t see ;)
