She was small orphan girl in South Korea during Korean wars, he took care of her gave her a home, food and shelter and education and raised like his own daughter. she owes him her life.

Please dont blame him... korea had strict rules regarding immigration, he wasnt allowed to adopt her or take her back.. and when he was back he wasnt allowed to get any information. His book is beautiful. Every single day of his life was spent trying to find her

Some of the veterans who served with Suleiman have preserved photos taken with Ayla and left postcards written about her story. Since the movie 'Ayla' was released, the photos and postcards have been shared by the social media. The image of Ayla introduced in photos and postcards was not only a lovely child but also a symbol of their military base. This story was locally reported by a reporter who was visiting at the base in 1951. The article was titled "Koreli küçük Ayla"....^^

I can't stop crying. Love always wins. Sulyman has the softtest kind ever, I really can't stop crying 😢

The father has a big loving heart, right from the time he first met her and to they day meet again after 60 years. He was only young at the time and his loving heart was bigger than the war. Beautiful story, I take my hat off this soldier and others for there loving hearts to help and shield Ayla all that time. God bless Turkey and your people, your soldiers make you proud. And so do I.

Turkish history is enjoyable. However, Ertuğrul Gazi lived during the Seljuk period, the Turkish state before the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman principality was founded by Osman Gazi, the son of Ertuğrul Bey. During the reign of Osman Gazi's son Orhan Bey, it entered the process of becoming a state from a principality. Osman Bey's grandson, Orhan Bey's son, became a state during the reign of Sultan Murad I. It started its golden age with the conquest of Istanbul during the reign of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror and took its most magnificent form during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. But the most enjoyable part is definitely the period of Fatih Sultan Mehmet and Yavuz Sultan Selim period.

I suggest you research Ottoman sailors. Especially sailors like Barbaros Hızır Hayreddin Pasha and Turgut Reis and Salih Reis. Even the best pirate in history, Edward Teach, had nothing with them.

Its so sad that Kim had to grow up without her parents. Sadly, she wasn't allowed to grow up with süleyman and his wife either. Süleyman died in December 2017, his wife Nimet died only 12 hours after him. May they rest in peace. All the best for Kim.
