Kora-Lung, a stone from Longsa village in Mokokchung

Most Naga villages have stones that hold stories of myths and legends, origins, feasts of merit and more. From monoliths to memorial stones, some of these stones are still standing. They are the keepers of our stories.
“FiveStones” is an oral narrative project. It is a series of five films exploring stories of stones from Naga villages.

Reminiscing my childhood memories all over again. My grandpa used to narrate this story to us and seeing him narrate here as well makes my heart full. Thank you TakeOne Nagaland for featuring my dear obu.

Really appreciate the upload. Its very impt for all of us but rare to find in today's time. This kind of documentation takes a great deal of effort and risks too on the editorial part. But whatever the circumstance may arise we should really preserve our lores and songs as a part of one's own identity so as to not say that a dog had eaten it away.
