The only reason i think he didn’t return is because yes Kopa is part of a book series thats based off of lion king but the book series was not made by Disney so he’s not Disney copyrighted so i think thats why but there is a small Easter egg in lion king 2 when kiara falls off the rock her tail falls on her head and she looks like kopa but yeah it would be cool if he was in lion guard

​​@@Prodblack Kopa is a real character that is true to the books, however he just never made it into the movies because well, Disney is gonna be Disney. And Disney doesn't like authentic stories, they rather create new or politically based movies. But if you look real closely at the cub that is presented in the first movie at the end scene that is simbas cub, it's not the same cub that is presented in the second movie. The first one is Kopa and the second one was Kiara. A way you can tell the difference is that male lion cubs have black around their ears in the movies whereas female lion cubs don't. In the first movie, the cub presented had black around its ears. When Kiara was presented in the second movie, her ears were not black. Fun little Easter egg to see!

I've heard a version years ago that Zira indeed killed Kopa but I don't remember was it because she wanted to have some sort of revenge towards Simba or did she just dislike the relationship between Vitani and Kopa. Anyways Simba found out about it and instead of killing her, he exiled Zira from pridelands and swore to kill her if she ever comes back. That's why in The Lion King 2 he warns Zira about the consequences if she comes back so Zira offered Kovu to him as a chance to take his revenge. You know eye for an eye. But of course Simba was no murderer so he refused and let them go. But yea as losing his son like that he became really obsessed to protect Kiara from everything. Especially from outlanders. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is the version I've heard like I said many years ago.

Kopa is like the rainmakers (from transformers) they apeared for only seconds but are very loved by their respective fandom

It explains why Simba and Nala were so worried about Kiara seeing Kovu- bc the last time this happened their child was killed 😢😢😢

hearing this explains SO many references and scenes in the 2nd movie. mind blown.

Poor Kopa... Nuka and Vitani, this almost made me cry I was around people so I didn’t want to but this is so sad I wonder why Kopa left instead of stayed. I glad you posted again. Even though some of it was unsettling

When I heard "And Rafiki raised the cub towards the sky-" I immediately thought "And he threw that cub with all his might off the rock" Mostly because of that one GIF.

Just imagen the stories one can tell when Kopa returns. His family's reaction, especially Kiara and Kion when they find out they have an older brother, and Vitani's response when she finds out that Kopa is alive after all this time. Also, because Kopa is eldest this may cause issues of who should be ruler. Why has Simba not said anything? Also, wow this is a great video, you did such a great job telling this story, the emotions I felt were so real, keep up the good work.

this is one of the most interesting stories for Kopa I have heard/seen, I love your stries and theories, they are interesting.

I really enjoyed this, I felt the emotion of his story. I appreciate your dedication to the lion king and finding the time to make interesting stories and theories. Keep up the good work😁😁

Ever notice that scar’s pride is what got him in the end? First because he was so cocky that he told Simba the truth about his father, and then his relationship to the hyenas. They thought he was their friend, while to him they were mere henchmen, so he had no trouble pushing them under the buss. And his demise would have never happened if he didn’t kill Mufasa, and he did that because he thought he’d be a better king and that he deserved it. Again, pride. It’s funny because he’s a lion and he rules a pride.

I waited for so long for a video from askari and this movie was not what I expected.

This is my version of what I would like to happen to Kopa Years later, After, Kopa learned to maintain his health, learned to hunt on his own, and also, learn to take care of himself. He went to the tree of life to get healed of a serious injury, there, he met the queen, Rani, and his brother/king, Kion. At the time, Rani was talking to Makini about her baby (she was pregnant at the time) so Kion went to give him a tour. (You have to remember that Kopa had NO idea of what happened with his father so he has no idea Kion is his brother) During the tour Kopa noticed that he and Kion had a lot in common and looked a lot alike, Kion noticed the same thing. Then Kion started to talk about the Pridelands "You know about the Pridelands?" Kopa asked, surprised "yes" Kion replied "I'm actually the original prince" Kopa was even more surprised "why?" Kion asked "Who was the previous king?" Kopa asked, knowing that around this time there would be a new ruler, "surely this is a new generation, right" Kopa thought. "His name is Simba" Kion answered. Kopa was shocked. "I was Simba's first born!" Kopa gasped. Now Kion was shocked, "WHAT, my older sister, Kiara is the Queen right now". They were both amazed as they knew, one of them would say it. And then, at the same time, they said it, "WE'RE BROTHERS" at first, they gasped, and then, they both started to laugh, and then hugged while they cried. Then after talking for a bit, they finished the tour. When they got back, they told Rani EVERYTHING. And left no detail untouched. When Kopa was all better Kion led him back to the Pridelands to reunite with his parents, and meet new people. Then when Kopa finally called Pride Rock home and met everyone, he saw the new lion guard (Vitani's lion guard) and almost immediately recognized the lion leading the lion guard. It was Vitani (also I forgot to mention that he found out about Nuka's death and was rlly upset) And when Vitani spotted Kopa, she felt the same thing. They both ran to each other in exitement "HO-HOW ARE YOU ALIVE" Vitani cried "Long story bu-but how are you doing.". And then a few years later they got married and had cubs. What do ya'll think (And yes I know it's rushed.). And I liked my own comment

It's most tragically story of TLK'world. I think that in end it wasn't Kopa but the spirit of him. But I couldn't understand why Nuka was so honor and loyal to his mother in second part of TLK if he knew the true? He can understand that happened.

The Lion King is the Greatest Disney Movie Ever Created it shows Leadership and teaches that you can't trust everyone not even your own Family

I have my own theory about why Kopa isn’t in Lion King 2… What if the Lions in Lion King/Lion King 2/Lion Guard actually produced those movies/shows themselves? And if they did, wouldn’t they need someone to film the scenes? Perhaps Zira was in charge of filming Lion King and Kopa was in charge of filming Lion King 2. Maybe the hyena trio from Lion King even filmed The Lion Guard! (and yes this theory is a joke XD)
