Another imp thing that should be mentioned is if all 3 are running exactly on same ios version or not. Battery drainage is apparently different on different update.

Should I upgrade from My 8 Plus , I am having no issues with the phone but not sure

In my opinion you should wait for 15 , i recently bought 14 plus and it is amazing but after seeing all those new features and design in 15 spending 80000 on 14plus is not a good idea
