Hi man! Good job. What do you think about adding to the test downloading some huge app from the app store (Asphalt 9 has 3GB). For fair comparison download would start after finishing on previous device. I come up to this while turn on my old iPhone 5s and downloading random app consume 20% in few minutes!!! It would be nice addition to what are you doing today to see if this is better optimized now :)

Thanks for comparing all on same os version, though iphone 13 lead over 12 has been diminished to some extent on ios 16, with 400mah extra battery and 1 generation ahead optimised chip, it should be able to bring much more to the table. 1 of 2 things has happened with ios16: 1. Apple optimised ios 16 very well for iphone 12 now, so the only difference now is physical 400 mah extra of 13 not much on software side. 2. Apple deliberately keeping iphone 13 there just so that it can show the lead iphone 14 has over 13.

Bro iphone 12 has 2800mah battery, and gave sot of 7 hrs 10 mins. That is for every one hour it consumed 400mah battery. On the other hand iphone 13 has 3200mah battery and it gave screen on time of 8 hrs 10 mins. So this also consumed 400mah for each hour. So here i dont see anything wrong.

It's not that simple math, the processor is one generation ahead and the new processor was optimised for power consumption & with software optimisation too, when 13 was release it had much much better backup than 12. It's ios 16 where the gap is lower now. If the same maths has to be followed than 13 and 14 should have almost same backup because battery mah change is minimal but a lot of test has shown better battery and even Apple claimed 1 hour better than previous generation, which again confirms the math is not so simple as you are calculating.

16 minutes of battery life really does not justify the price difference between the 13 and 14. 13 is the best dollar for dollar value. 12 is still a good value also if you can still find it new. 11 is for the refurb market now with it lacking 5g.

If you haven’t bought a new phone yet - if you’ve gotta have a new phone right now get the 13 Pro, it’s got better hardware than the baseline 14 and costs less. If you can wait a bit get the iPhone 15, it should be dropping in about 5 months and is supposed to have a USB C port

At this site you conclude a contract for the used telephones. For 10 GB (mobile data) and the phone I would have to pay a total of €500. (in 24 month) I don't know what to do anymore. A new phone would be great because my current one is very broken and the display is already loose. I don't have enough money for an iPhone 13 (as new). It would be nice if you would answer me.

This should be done with GSM Sim card not on Wi-Fi because that are the mobile phones and that’s what they are used for and the main thing is how long battery will last for when you’re out of home it means out of the wi fi when the GSM modem works.

well that was not different than expected, duentonthe fact, that an Iphone 11 runs nearly permanently on full power for those tasks… while an iphone 14 is sitting on max 70% of its cpu/gpu/ram performance therefor the older phones need a lot more power from the battery

Thanks going to upgrade from the 11 to the 14 might as well go all out keeping it until the 17 or 18 comes out

@• Alex • A new iPhone 8 manufactured as recently as an iPhone 14? Or made years ago and sitting in a box unused since then? Apple discontinued the 8 two-and-half years ago. The battery would still degrade, even without charging or discharging.
